I went out of my way to tame this for black pearls but I realized my 140% apprentice pickaxe gathers slightly more than the angler even though I pumped points into melee.

An angler combined with a flying tame is the best way to get silica pearls to your base, take a flying tame with lots of weight when you are collecting silica pears, when you're done dump all the pearls into your flier and fly back to your base

What you want to do, from a long distance start shooting with a harpoon gun, but always wait like a second or two because you could accidentally shoot it and bring down his efficiency to tame, since they don’t level up very well after being tamed.

They are very good at harvesting pearls. Another good use is their incredible gel. You get way more gel from an angler than from snails.

If you get a asdentant crossbow it will take like 5 or more tranq arrows to knock out

To tame it use raw fish meat or raw meat, you need soothing balm for faster tame, and use biotoxins on it.

If you had these guys to light up your water pens it's time to dust them off. They now gather pearls.

It now gathers silica pearls, ~50 per clam. New best way to farm pearls!

Well i thought they were useless but they dont require saddles... and they farm PEARLS!!!!! Just bite the pearls and it harvest for double of your human hands

This tame is good for running drops in water it is fast and has more hp then itchies

Just noticed but take a day to raise fully highly recommended to tame a pair,look near herb island and red ob cave (underwater),bring a baryonox as they stun eels and sharks
