Awesome all around tames, vital for endgame as they collect huge amounts of pearls, I play on 2x harvesting serve on mobile my 250 tames Angler gets around 185 pearls per oyster, get one with good weight and melee

Can harvest pearls incredibly well, so it basically now is the most necessary thing in the game to tame later on.

Makes getting pearls sooooo easy. If you need electronics, get an angler.

There angler gel is a amazing fuel source and when u put them in standing torches the anglergel puts of a blue burn

AnglerGel is good fuel and can be used to tame up mantas.

Best underwater nightlight and for collecting silica pearls

Use a squid to knock them out for a little easy cage free tame

Anglers are found in the deeper parts of the ocean, finding them is as one would guess easy as their lures are easy to see at a distance, they are comparatively easy to kill for gel ( taming food for Mantas and the best fuel in game ) but in groups exceeding three then I suggest running, best take a megaladon.

Also can be lured by other tamed anglers lures.

I tamed a lvl 46 and he is all I ride underwater

He took out two megs himself

Please note that anglers only collect silica pearls and not black pearls, I tried on rag and was very disappointed

An essential tame for any tribe. This animal makes pearl gathering a breeze. There is no saddle required. Just grab on and zoom away. Bite pearl nodes to gather them.

Did you know if you have a pond or cage you set M and F on wonder they breed and egg incubates in the water and hatches rite there no need for water incubator. Just need to remember to claim and put Mae in water after.

Very good for getting pearls you can get 6000 just under 30mins

on an itchy they won’t attack but on a basil they attack you smh

This tame has a couple very nice features and a few drawbacks.

It collects pearls very well by biting them. I get about 50 per bite. You also don't have to get off your tame to collect pearls, which can save you some headaches.

This tame has fairly good speed and the stamina regenerates quickly.

When attacked by an electrophorus, the shock does not dismount the player but does momentarily prevent the angler from attacking.

This could be useful in passive taming the eels, as well as preventing many untimely deaths.

Drawbacks: it has a very small attack range and area of effect. It also has pretty low damage output. It is nearly useless at attacking anything larger than a mega piranha.

This creature is a pain in the neck to tame, but is a near magic solution to running out of pearls.
