The Ark chapter two

“Hey Iguana, you are seeing this… right?” David stood, on the beach, staring at the massive metal obelisk far away. “What is this? An island, filled with what I assume are dinosaurs, with giant floating metal laser things! What!” Iguana then seemed scared, crouching low to the ground and growling. At that moment, a six foot tall beast burst out of the nearby forest, chasing another Dino, this one with a crest on its head. After a few swipes of its claws, the larger, crested beast fell. David decided at that moment to start to back away, but the Dino noticed him and charged towards him. Luckily, before it could get its mouth around David’s neck, Iguana reared up and spat acid in the dinos face, blinding it and forcing it to slow down. Iguana then leaped on to the dinos back and clung on and ripped at its flesh, tearing through its muscle, and buying enough time for David to come up and start to beat down on the dino. The dino eventually got free of Iguana, and apparently decided it had had enough, because it ran back into the forest and dashed off. “Thanks for the save Iguana, but I’m gonna need some weapon or something to defend myself with eventually” Then he went over to a tree, and started to break branches off and tear thatch off it. With a stone he made a crude pickaxe, which he quickly learned that was fantastic for getting thatch but horrid at getting wood. “I can make this work. I can survive if I can get a house.” And so, he started about gathering materials for the shelter he had in mind. It would keep him safe.

That’s chapter two! See you in the next chapter, I’m going thru the carnivores in alphabetical order. See ya!
