On valgero there all in the abberation cave
29 70 in val they are in the 1st abrent area in waste high water easiest way to get them.
It's a good idea to trap them if you can then they can't swim away, making the taming process alot easier.
Since update these bad boys are amazing for pearls chomp and run. Suggest. Speed and damage
They are easy to get on valguero in the aberration cave. There is a lot of them spawning in the shallow rivers. Just clear out the spinos and crabs. Then just stand next to the river and tranq it. Just be careful. In some of the rivers there's a lot of electric eels also
They spawn a lot in the Ice Cave on the Island. Since they’re in a cave they respawn fast too. My tribe leader made it out of there with multiple stacks of angler gel. It was actually starting to encumber him.
Not hard to tame, how and tranq arrows work great, taming is short, and in my opinion with just a decent speed and weight they are not me of the best water tames! Unlike most water tames these guys are small, more maneuverable fast and the best part.. they come with their own headlights!
Since there’s no scuba gloves just give us webbed gloves like a platypus.
Part 6. Whether it's size is caused by adaptation to The Island's other inhabitants, or by cross-breeding with another larger species, Melanocetus anglerpescum is the largest form of Anglerfish I've ever heard of. Typically found among the deepest, darkest expanses of the ocean, this creature preys on smaller fish while being an excellent source of food for larger predators. Melanocetus has an array of bioluminescent light pods at the end of stalks on its head. Like typical Anglerfish, it primarily uses these to attract smaller creatures and trick them into coming close enough for Melanocetus to consume the prey. This often makes wild Melanocetus itself relatively easy to spot among the briny depths.
