Oh well its fine, you two have only met for a few days. Dont lose a few screws just cause. And yeah, Ive always wanted to mess with Creepazoid Michael, I always imagined that would be his reaction.
Wyvernian Id either say the Desert or the Arctic, its hard to choose which one. They both have likeable funny characters, maybe thats why. Not saying I hate Nash, but he just doesnt easily compare to the others.
Well thats all. Halfway done with Chap 24!

Of course Sunny, I think your story is really good, and plus it has themes of love (which i thought would be a good Valentines Special). And you aint dumb if you are able to figure it out.
Theres also a reason space and time was collapsing in the end. If Tortuga is a story in Arks Over Heaven world, anf Arks Over Heaven is a story in the Tortuga world, then when did it all start? Once characters from both world realized, then everything went badly, now a paradox is created, resulting in chaos.
To avoid any more paradoxes, in the world of Arks Over Heaven, any story that mentions Arks Over Heaven, consider that specific reference non-existent.

OMG Ben, I just read ur valentine special. I really LOVED IT! It was so cool how they got transported to TTDOT. I wonder Who why Nora was there and what Aragorn meant when he said he knew her future. Pls post the next chapter soon! Also thanks for telling me how to refresh!

Hey everyone, Im super happy to announce an early release of the Valentines Special! Chapter 23.5 is located in Featherlight and is 11 parts long (5800 words). Goodness gracious, thats longer than Dodo Tales Season 1... and plenty other fanfic im sure.
It was lots of fun to work on, and im sure the ending may have been confusing. If theres any questions feel free to ask, as long as it doesnt directly spoil the future of the story.
And finally, as a hint for those who may want to dig even deeper, this extra chapter should reveal a LOT about the four main characters (Samuel, Aurora, Neddy, and Ruby) along with Ben, mostly about how love works for them.

Apex thanks for reading my story again! Im glad you enjoyed Chapter 21, although Chapter 22 is already out in Giant Bee since it seems you are waiting for that. (Btw: 1,000 words per chapter is still a lot! That’s very impressive compared to earlier fanfiction on the Dex). Well, I guess that’s all for now. And I heard you’re going to write a sequel sort of for The Obelisk, so I’ll be waiting around for that.
SunnyFox, I just realized a few things, mostly about Emma’s blindness! It’s probably from her future sight seeing, huh? That’s why her medallion glowed when she became blind. She probably saw either the demise of Tortuga, or her parents’ death, or something even worse in the future… that’s why she blamed herself, saying “It’s all my fault”.
Poor Emma. Well some other things I realized were that Joe is also blind, right? But why do I feel like both of their blindnesses are somehow connected? It said Joe got blind because of a disease, I think, but still. I feel like there’s some sort of connection there.
Also I wonder what happened to Mrs. Lois and Hawkthorne. I’m sure we’ll know soon in the sequel (probably not Shadow Phoenix though). I wonder if Mrs. Lois is important at all, she seems like she’s stayed at Tortuga for a while. And the more I think about it, have Andrew’s parents ever been mentioned? I don’t think so, it feels a little weird to me.
There’s too much to think about, too much to uncover for now. I guess I’ll wait until more questions are uncovered for me to figure out. But I’m sure we’ll figure them out as always.

Yeah Wyvernian, we probably should stop assuming what they have planned and just be surprised what they have in store for the map. Though I do have to say that I definitely agree with your ideas for the creatures, that would be so awesome… We should just create some mods if they don’t add some of these ideas!!! 😂
But I think we should definitely stop before we get out of hand. But I hope it will get some awesome new mechanics and equipment to use for the map and creatures!!!! Well, I think that’s about it for now for this discussion on what I can see right now. Until next time!!

Wyvernian, yeah Ark does have some fuzzy stuff for its lore about the tidal lock after defeating the King Titan and how the moon got into the condition it was when you get to extinction, but those are easy enough to explain for later story maps or in the series.
If they go that route with it being always night. I hope we see a creature just like that or get a creature inspired by the Future Predator from Primeval. It would make the map so much more terrifying in a way that a creature doesn’t hunt you by sight but hunts you by sound. It could add a lot of new mechanics and ideas for weapons or tools in the game too. But they can do a whole lot with Arat Prime’s story and play style if it’s always dark and never any sort of sunlight, like getting places similar to the void in Subnautica, an abandoned city with some streets and buildings lit up with lights, natural bioluminescent forests and more highly advanced bioluminescent creatures. Especially with some of the new UE5 features added and applied in ASA. I really hope they do take this route when they get around to do Arat Prime. I think that’s all I wanted to say for now.
