Wyvernian, I didn’t even realize that!!! I just looked at the picture and I think you’re right. I think it’s a new surface area by the color and plant life!!! Now I’m wondering if it’s going to be permanent habitable zones on the surface of Aberration? I don’t know how that would work but it looks like their hinting at this.
Sunnyfox, don’t worry about a cliffhanger ending!!! It will be great!!! I can’t wait for the next chapter!!!! Also I would think that would be cool for them to do. But I’m in the same boat with you because Ultimus has some things based or inspired by movies and book too. Similarly, Journey has some too.
Ben, I read chapter 39!!!! Poor Chris, he’s alone and has nothing to defend himself. And now June’s sending troops to hunt him down now!!!! I can’t wait for the next chapter!!!!

Yk what the ark developers should do? They should take some of the ark stories here on the dex and make them into movies or series. (NOT MINE!!! Mine might have stuff in it that’s based on other books or movies. ) like the arks over heaven, the obelisk, PoP/HoP, Ultimus, and other ark stories here. Wouldn’t that be so cool? Anyways…I was just thinking.

Wyvernian i dont necessarily think that since Helena is gay in the show wont necessarily think there will be a love triangle between her, Mei, and Diana. Most likely theyll remain friends, because we know people can stay platonic friends with the opposite gender, sooo itd probably be the same. Besides if she had a wife/gf before being transported, i mean that feels unusual to just move on so fast.
i really dont think theyll gender swap anyone. everything else in the series seems true to the original except 1. how the story goes and 2. Helena's girlfriend. Then again, its never really mentioned who Helena was interested in. So. who knows.
Personally i dont care about this change. Itdoesnt seem to affect the story, so as long as they dont change anything else, im satisfied.

Gigantopithecus Regime
King Ember Black: A black Terror Bird who rules over the Gigantopithecus Regime. He worked with Rockwell due to his tremendous power, and wanted to take over the Kong Estate due to them being supposedly troublesome. Buddy had turned out to be Ember’s adopted brother.
Lieutenant Felswand: A Gigantopithecus who is the lieutenant of the Gigantopithecus Regime. He alerted King Ember about his weakening father. He didn’t want to kill Karson when ordered to. He was willing to go against King Ember’s orders to keep Karson safe.
Karson Black: King Ember’s father. He grows weaker and was kept in the dungeon by King Ember.
Rockwell: King Ember’s true master, the one in full control. Became the new Overseer of the ARK and can feel, hear, and see everything. His master plan involves wiping out the humans. Is capable of bending space and time by creating wormholes.
Kong Estate
Paul Kong: The father of Joe and Myra, husband/mate of Mara. According to Dr. Ben he was a great father, general, and husband. He had been slain trying to fight back against the Megapithecus.
Mara Kong: The chillest Gigantopithecus on Allosaurus Island. Very kind-hearted and just wanted her son to make friends before being brutally murdered for no reason.
Joe Kong: The son of Mara Kong. The eldest son of Mara Kong. Didn’t really feel like becoming friends with Buddy.
Myra Kong: The daughter of Mara Kong. She grew a brain tumor since birth and has been in the infirmary ever since.
Miranda Boots: The housekeeper of the Kong Estate.
Dr. John Yang Cazador: A human who guards the city of Allosaurus Island. He can understand the language of dinosaurs as well.
Steve Loopy Buckleshoot: A squirrel. Somehow Steve Loopy Buckleshoot had traveled into the past from The Terrible Demise of Tortuga to Hope’s Cry. He was tasked to guard the wall from invaders. He seems a bit loopy. He also wants to marry Lollipop.
Lollipop: A pink Mammoth who doesn’t really like Steve.
Cusco Acantilido: A Carnotaurus who does not approve of Steve’s attraction to Lollipop.
Dr. Benjamin Eavs: A light brown Jerboa who took care of all the wounded in the infirmary/hospital. He is currently writing a book called “The Arks: Over Heaven”. Probably Dr. Yang’s assistant. Somehow I feel as if this will lead to a paradox.
Boss Creatures:
Broodgenetrix: Briefly mentioned by Rockwell to have battled the Megapithecus. It seems to have lost as its legs were ripped off.
Megapithecus: This beast was released by Rockwell in order to destroy Allosaurus Island.
Dragon: Blue, unlike its Island counterpart. Was summoned by Rockwell via wormhole to destroy Allosaurus Island.
Misc:
Diana Altaras: A URE orbital strike fighter pilot when she was on Earth. She was responsible for the death of the Overseer and the destruction of two obelisks.

MrGhostGamer here is an entire character list of your story, Hope's Cry! Also reviewing it over.. the vision Buddy had of Hope and Mars and Evelin... Mars is the main character of Shores and Stars! So SAS IS directly connected to Hopes Cry and TTDOT as a result! Another thing. Dr. Ian! He appeared as a Jerboa in Hope's Cry. And in SAS he's the President. No way theyre not connected.

PrimalApex your theory makes a LOT of sense, actually. While it is based off the hope that implants and medallions are pretty much the same... i mean cmon theyre pretty dang similar. The only thing is i remember it stating medallions are made of element. And idk if implants are, but if not id assume Tom would put element in them. Tom is in control of the kingdom at the moment, and while element is presumably sparse after Extinction, itd make a tad bit of sense if Shadow Phoenix had a reserve. How else would they make medallions, magic?

Sunny Chapter 22 was pretty neat. I cant believe Willow switches teams, hopefully she does nothing crazy with Josephina..
So from the looks of it Daniel is kind of just building a bond with Josephina. I dont really think theyll get together, it seems more like a friends only sort of situation. Yeah theres very small signs that Josephina may find Daniel attractive, but not the other way around. Well guess we'll just have to find out.
And Daniel has super strength too? Reminds me of Edward..
How do these people have powers anyway?
Also Ark Animated series released today. I think ill watch it and ill tell you what i think, since not too many people have high hopes about it especially with the Helena gf and whatever. If anyone else will watch it too i wanna know what you think.
Also really cool how Moon is going to make animatics/animations for future stories. That sounds so cool! Being able to make art for your story always sounded amazing.

woahh, So THAT was what the newspaper story was about! Somehow I didnt figure out the pirates were talking about the pirates under Piranha? Idk, but thats a pretty cool! and very clever way to secretly put hints on what happen to other characters.
And THOM is almost ending?
Im assuming it has to do with Josephina soon meeting Jay.

Wyverain I completely agree with you. Helena’s wife is definitely a unnecessary addition to the series. She’s not even connected to the plot. Also I don’t think it’s right for people of the same gender to marry, that’s not how God made us. Ugh! The one ark film and they just had to ruin it, didn’t they!?! Anyways…I see Ben posted his newest chapter so…im gonna go check that out!! Cya later!

Hey everyone. Managed to read up on everything. oh yeah Chapter 37 released in Baryonyx. Really short, and next chapter will be filler too but i cant wait to show you all Chapter 41-50 its probably going to be one of my favorite arcs. (he he)
Sunny Chapter 21 was crazyy. And I honestly was pumpin my fists in the air when Captain Shortstacks was served justice by the SHADOWY FIGURE! And the rest of Tortuga's peacekeepers are dead?!?! Woahhh. Shadow Figure did quite a bit of work. And that scene was actually kinda badass, i can totally feel the fear in that evil lad's chest for killing innocents. Although hes still not real for killing Paul, the coolest of them all! Sponsored by Paul.
And now that I look back, where is Rachelle, daughter of peacekeeper Helen? (Helen died in TTDOT). We last saw her sneak onto the pirate ship...
Theres a small chance shes the shadowy figure, but Tom knows who the shadowy figure is as if they were old pals, and i dont think those two could be pals...
MrGhostGamer the recent chapters were pretty good and youre off to a fast start! One thing I noticed is that Ares and Mars... well, if you dont know, Ares is greek god of war, Mars is roman god of war, but technically theyre the same. Pretty neat I bet this has something to do with it. Also, one thing I notice is that Mars ALREADY HAS an implant before arriving on the Ark. "He nervously scratched his wrist although the only thing he would feel there would be metal, it still brought him satisfaction." Also, according to Ares, you only end up on the island if you offended President Ian Ghost. That leads me to believe Mars had ties with Mr Ghost, and the implant before landing on the Ark may be related.
Also there are two Ian's, Ian Might and Ian Ghost? Confusing, but i dont mind!
