Stories Tips

What are some stories about the achatina? Memorable achatina stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
Moon, woo hoo! Chapter 88 and a Nyx POV! But it looks like theres gonna be trouble for Nyx and the others because...
Wyvernian, Ripper is back! That spiky creature was probably the Velonasaur from before (Ripper), thats why he lied about Peeri still being alive. And also why he hesitated saying his 'name', Ripple. Things are going interesting, but if Nyx trusts her instinct rather than Ripple they will be safe.
Bob the Survivor, your messages are going through, you dont need to worry.
With the Dododex website, you can view messages in real time. Sometimes the app doesnt update all the way.
From Ben,
Bob The Survivor, Wyvernian's "Heroes of Pandora" prologue can be found in Allo and the story continues in alphabetical order in the category, Tameables (i think).
Also, I read Chapter 1. I think it was a good beginning, I dont know if youve done this but dialogue would suffice even if Johns the only character. Like thoughts or talking to himself would add some heart. Overall easy to read, but the only problem I have is finding Chapter 2 is hard, because when I check I think there's multiple chapter 2s. What order does it go in so i cam read the right chapter?
End, Ben
Ben here, I like the idea of moving, but the only thing is I have an issue with dyes section.
To begin, it's hard to tell if someone is impersonating or not. For example in dinosaur sections, by clicking on the date of a tip you can see other stories that the tip provider made (browser only), making it easy to determine if someone is legit or not. You cannot do this in dye section, however, so this could lead to problems.
Subsequently, unlike dinosaur section keeping track of new messages in dyes are much more difficult. With my trick of using the website I can easily refresh to see new tips up to a few minutes ago. But this doesnt support dyes, so this will make replying to messages harder. Overall its just more disorganized.
So, therefore, I do not believe we should use dyes. In fact, I have a proposition. Let's go to a forum off site. I know, its crazy, and the last time it was done bad things ensued. But I believe if we find the right site, this will make communication even easier. And it will also ensure utmost security if we take the right steps. Or, we can just stay here in Achatina.

Hi Ben, I think for me my favorite while I’m writing stories is going through the plot, before going through what I want to write down for the story while I’m writing it. How I’m going to reveal new characters and show scenarios that are going to happen. With how some parts just come as you start and how some parts just come to me and immediately work with the story. It’s probably one of my favorite things to feel when coming up with a new part of the story!! It personally just my favorite part of writing right now!

Just let out 86, expect 87 in the next few days.
And Wyvernian, I am LOVING how Pop is going, thought I’d tell you that so far my favorite characters are Nash, Ron and Bones. I must say, the plot is pretty great and I love the personality you give to each character.
And here’s more of my worm hehe <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>

Chapter 1: Ben
The boy woke up with a startle, a cold breeze flowing on his bare back. He slowly rose from the ground, and looked around to see he wasn’t in the comfy bed at home. Instead, he was on the sandy beaches of what seemed to be an island.
“Oh no, here we go again,” Ben thought to himself. He had no idea where he was, come to think of it, he didn’t have any memory of being transported here. Surely, he would’ve noticed? Maybe it was a dream?
Ben looked down to see all he had was some dirty old underwear on, and he could feel a hum coming from his wrist. He irritably looked at it to see a strange gem embedded within. He scratched it, as a painful itch surged throughout.
“Where the hell am I, and how the hell did this all happen?” Ben said to himself. He didn’t see anyone else, and he had no idea what to do. He looked at the implant again, but nothing changed, how would he survive?
“Okay, I can do this, I just have to get some shelter, food, and some water,” Ben muttered. He went around the beach to see if he could salvage some resources, and found a few pieces of torn wood and thatch on the ground, as well as a few stones. For some reason, there were a bunch of random animals around the beach, which was odd, because Ben didn’t think there would be many animals at a beach. As he took a closer look at what seemed to be a bird, it chirped almost obliviously, paying no attention to him.
“Wait a minute, this looks a bit like a Dodo,” Ben thought to himself. He punched it on the beak, and it squawked angrily, beginning to squabble away at a slow rate. Ben looked at his knuckles to see a bit of blood, and he pushed the pain away. Ben knew he’d have to make some tools, so using his basic knowledge of survival, he constructed a pickaxe out of the stone, wood, and thatch around the beach. He looked at the crude tool, and decided it’s be best to kill some animals with it. He felt another chill on his back, and he looked behind him to see that the sun was setting.
“I have to be quick, or else it’ll be too dark to see and do anything,” Ben thought to himself. He went up to a large boulder that was on the grass, and began to chip away at it. Pieces of flint and stone fell to the ground, and he picked it up. He put his pickaxe down, and afterwards decided to make a torch with the flint he just made. He rubbed two pieces of wood together very quickly, and a fire started on the base of the torch. He held it up in the air, and wind breezed by, carrying the heat of the flames to his chest, warming him up greatly. He sighed in relief, and rested by the rock where he had just mined the stone and flint. As he was resting and regaining his energy, his stomach rumbled madly, and he let out a cry of pain. His stomach began to churn and twist in hunger. He had to eat something quick.
Should he try killing one of the dodos for their meat? No, it’d take too long, maybe there were some berries around in the bushes he could eat. He got up from the ground and went over to a bush, shoving his hand in there for anything to eat. He felt something round and smooth, and he pulled his hand out and opened it up. There were a few black berries in his palm. He didn’t care if they were poisonous or not, he’d either starve to death or get diarrhea, it didn’t matter. He got more of the black berries, and afterwards ate eight of the suckers. After a few minutes, his stomach stopped growling. He smiled happily, knowing he’d at least be able to survive for a few more nights.
All of a sudden, drowsiness overcame him, and he fell to the ground, passed out. Before Ben lost full consciousness, he could hear the flapping of wings, and a man laughing sarcastically at him.
“Would you look at that, the runt got himself knocked out,” Something blunt him in the head, and everything turned to black.

Siyu's story Chapter 5
Siyu sat perched in the branches of a tall tree. He watched an Ichthyornis fly in circles, diving occasionally to snatch a fish out of the water. He looked down at the compound bow in his hands. To defeat Nerva, he would have to upgrade not only his army, but his arsenal as well. He lifted the bow and aimed at the bird. The compound bow boasted strength, but was much heavier than the wooden bow he favored. Before he could loose the arrow, the tree shook beneath him. He looked down. A carno was ramming the tree. It attacked again. Siyu tried yo shoot it, but the added weight of the bow threw off his aim. The tree shook again and the branch Siyu was crouched on broke. He crashed to the ground and writhed, trying to catch his breath. The carno swung its head down at him, but its teeth were stopped short of Siyu's face by a set of metal claws. Christopher continued to stab at the creatures neck until it fell, bloodied. Christopher reached to help Siyu to his feet, his claws still out of the gauntlets. "Oh right," Christopher said, causing the claws to retract. "What are those?" Siyu asked.
"Made them myself. If these don't get Nerva talking, I don't know what will."
Siyu got to his feet climbed back into the tree. "What are you doing?" Christopher asked. Siyu lifted the bow again, accounting for the weight this time as he aimed at the bird. "Training." He waited for the next dive and then fired. He hit the bird in the side, and it fell into the river. He lowered his bow. "I've got to practice. Last time I underestimated Nerva's power. This time, I'll be prepared."
"If you just planned on shooting Nerva from afar, I don't see why we had to tame all these creatures."
"I'm not going to kill him. We still need answers. But it would be wise to even out the numbers a little first."
"Well in that case, Christopher said. He pulled something from his back. "Use this." Siyu leapt down from the tree to get a closer look. It was a rapid fire rifle. Siyu shook his head. "I don't use guns."
"You'll shoot with a bow, but not a gun?"
"Bows are nobel. They were made to hunt, to survive. But guns were born of hatred and violence towards others."
"You know, bows were used as weapons too."
Siyu ignored him and took aim at another Ichthyornis, picturing it as Nerva.

Nerva’s story part six
By Red Dragon
Nerva sat down by the fire he made. It reminded him of him before he became a warlord, trying to survive like most other people on the Island. He remembered his log cabin he had built for himself at the hidden lake. It wasn’t much, but he liked it. He remembered the sarcosuchus that’s attacked. It destroyed a wall and killed his two casteroides, so Nerva killed it. The fire crackled. He was tempted to return to that life, to go back to a more simple way of living. No. He had to make Li pay. It may not be Mei-Yin, but it was her son. As the sun rises, he gets his pike, and starts walking back to Far’s Peak. His main base was there, so he could go back and inform his troops he hadn’t died, and tell them about another enemy of the Legion. Goliath.

Siyu's Story Ch 4
By CL1
Siyu limped through the woods, Dajiao by his side. All but one of her children had died during the fight, her son. He dropped suddenly. Dajiao walked back to her son and sat by his side. Siyu did the same. They waited as the carno's breathing slowed to an eventual end. Dajiao place her head on his side and let out a soft cry. Siyu dropped his head. How could he have been so foolish, to let Dajiao and her children suffer like this? They were all he had, and he'd gotten them killed. He looked up again. Dajiao was standing over him, awaiting his command. He could see the pain in her eyes, physical and emotional, yet she continued to be loyal. "I won't make you face this again," Siyu promised her. "Next time, it will be Nerva who suffers." After giving Dajiao's son a proper funeral, they returned home. Xiaochou was running through the kitchen, bringing items to the stranger, who was cooking again. A cough from the corner startled Siyu, and he quickly raised his bow towards a shadowed figure.
A man limped out from the darkness, clutching his ribs with one arm. He looked Siyu up and down and chuckled, "You're shorter than I thought you'd be."
Siyu wasn't amused. "Tell me who you are and why I shouldn't kill you." The cook stepped between Siyu and the injured man. "He was hurt," the cook said indignantly. "You didn't seem the sort to turn away a person in need."
The injured man waved the cook out of the way. "My name is Christopher Walker. I'm Helena Walker's sister. She spoke of a Li, Mei-Yin. You're her son, right?" Siyu said nothing. Christopher stepped forward a little. Siyu tightened his grip on the bow. "I'm looking for my sister. She was last seen with Nerva and Mei-Yin. I heard Mei-Yin was missing too. I thought maybe you and I could work together to get answers out of him." Siyu remained silent, his bow still trained on Christopher's head. Christopher sighed, "If you want me to leave, just say so, but say something at least."
"My mother said Helena knew everything about the creatures of the island. Do you?"
Christopher laughed, "Well, not as much as her, but certainly more than anyone else." Siyu lowered his bow. "Good. If I'm going to get answers out of Nerva, I'm going to need a new army."
Haven’t posted a chapter in a few days. Hoping to get back on it soon. There’s just so much to do. Basic life stuff such as school or meeting with people, then hobbies, like getting better at Fortnite (don’t judge lol) and others which for some reason I can’t think of at the moment. Then finally I have everything on here, like writing my story, reading everyone else’s story, etc. In my defense, Ben has written a great story and has sucked me right into it so I have been spending my allotted time to the world of FanFiction reading that. (Yes, I did just blameshift to Ben) Anyways, I hope to get right back to it and I thank you all for your patience and understanding.
