Hey again. Gitezgood, I just saw your comment. I'm definitely not new to writing, as I've been writing since I was younger. I've been using dododex for taming purposes for a while, but I just decided to join the writing community on here. So... just the writing community I guess? I assume you were talking to me, but if not... sorry, and hi!

MrGhostGamer, to answer your question about what are we talking about. It is some of the lore of Ark. Specifically about Arat Prime, if the Earth is still in tidal lock or not after defeating the King Titan and how that would affect what Arat Prime would be like if it came into Ark as a map. We also have been discussing how many explorer notes we’ve collected and how we collected them and it seems to have started with what all our opinions are on the new oasisaur. To answer your second question. It depends on if we are going to talk more about the lore of Ark. It also depends if Wyvernian is okay with continuing this discussion and if he would like to have more people join the conversation. But I think he probably wouldn’t mind since it is up for anyone to really discuss it with us. So if we do continue talking about the lore and Wyvernian doesn’t mind having you join the conversation. Yeah you can join.

Okay so Ben,
My favorite POV is probably third person. I do like First but third is my favorite.
My personal favorite book or story outside of Dododex is 100% Michael Crichton’s Jurassic Park, it’s an incredible novel and is definitely worth reading before or after ever seeing the movies.
This one is a little bit more difficult for me, but I would definitely say friends to lovers for romantic story arc.
Favorite Ark Map, I think for me, it’s Ragnarok or Fjordur that either tie for favorite or are switchable for first and second. Center and Genesis part one are very close behind but definitely Ragnarok and Fjordur are my favorites.
Favorite Ark creature. This one is hard just because of how many I really enjoy but I think it’s the Managarmr. The speed, great mobility, decent weight and good stamina make them one of my favorite go to travel mounts. I think after that, it would go Shadowmane second and Spinosaurus third.

I’ll start with PoP Chap 23 first. Wyvernian, you did a great job on this chapter as you usually do. I can definitely see that Ron is becoming more of a leader, I guess he’s becoming a captain of his own, eh? Also I like how Ping is becoming more smart, even though he may be a little naive or not so bright at times, gathering the Kairuku and persuading them to join their side by telling them the fish is gone because of the Ice Queen… LOL. Well I guess that’s all for now… Hopefully the heroes of Pandora manage to complete their journey safely. Although it makes me wonder what’s next after this season/series 🤔. Im sure you know the answer to that.
Next up, Tortuga Chap 22 and 23! Wow there’s a lot to dissect for 22… Okay, so apparently pirates are set to head to Tortuga because of Josh Swan, who is apparently a traitor within their pirate group. And their leader is Captain Piranha… I am wondering what Mr. Swan did to ‘betray’ these pirates. I’m guessing from their last names, Captain Piranha is a vicious, aggressive man who will tear apart at his enemies with no mercy, while Mr. Swan is a gracious, perhaps peaceful man. Perhaps Mr. Swan didn’t agree with the ways of the pirates, so he set off on his own and maybe did some damage to the pirates as a result. Perhaps that is how Captain Piranha here got his scar. Mr. Swan cut it in his desertion. Also ewwww, Captain Piranha does NOT brush his teeth. But this explains a lot about Mr. Swan, and how he knows how to fight with swords, he used to be a pirate!
And finally for Chap 22, it seems the British are here… I guess after Extinction happened and the Arks landed and the Earth was purged of element, some nations were reestablished, and Britain is one of them? I wonder how powerful these new nations are, if they even can be called nations, perhaps they are no more than towns. Also oh no… Captain Shortstacks- I mean Hugo thinks that Tortuga is a pirate haven, I surely hope that the town of Tortuga isn’t terribly demised (it’s definitely getting destroyed now that I said it).
Chapter 23 is next on my inspection list, hmm let’s see here, Eric probably has a crush on Elizabeth, and woo hoo Andrew asks Emma out on a date!!! Things are going great for the two, I even almost forgot about the curfew laws! And here we go Mr. Creepazoid showed up with his fam to ruin things, as per usual. He seems to be getting more demanding and bold with his moves, first of all, not cool dude, second of all, disgusting, dude. Also I guess his brothers support his creepy moves, which means there’s now THREE of them to deal with. Mike the… idk and Mickie the rat. I still haven’t come up with nicknames for those two yet. I wonder who’s like the leader of the three, or if they all just do whatever cuz they’re too dumb to actually run the town. How do they even run the town??? Weirdos. Anyway, yeah thats about it, although I do have some suggestions for the three M brothers (creepy #1, 2, and 3). Perhaps you could show how the three interact to run the town. It would be pretty cool to see their personalities (okay maybe not cool to see how creepy they are but you get the point), like who’s the smart one? The strong one? The logical one? (Although I doubt any of them are logical).
Also one more suggestions, perhaps we could see more scenes with the Buckleshoot family? I miss seeing Aaron, and I’m wondering how his tamed creatures are doing. I’d be cool to see the family chill together, see how they interact. I especially want to know what Elizabeth thinks of Eric…
Well that’s about it, you did great the two of you! Your stories almost made me forget Obelisk is on hiatus because of Moon’s broken computers… Welp, see you on the next run!
PS: Valentine’s Day is coming up… Perhaps it’d be a good idea to make a Valentine’s Special? I know I’m definitely making one.

Chapter 19’s out, in Ichthyornis. Woo hoo! It’s not a crazy chapter like the others, but Chapter 20 will be big because… well, you’ll find out soon. Also Chapter 20 might take longer to come out compared to the others because it’s going to be significantly longer, I think.
SpecialRaptor, great to see you after a while! Sorry i can’t respond earlier, I was very wrapped up in my story and others. It’s pretty sad that you got grounded, it happens to the best of us 😞. And a month sounds like a lot too. Well just stick it through and push through and you’ll make it easily.
SunnyFox, woah someone remembers Nova. Considering she’s Samuel’s best friend I’d consider her an important character. I tried to make her stick out and less forgettable by giving her a lot of screen time in the Prologue, but considering we haven’t seen her for the majority of the story I guess it would be hard to remember her (I wonder if people still remember the principal? Mr. Mo). Don’t worry, she’s not dead. That’s all I’ll reveal though. And I guess a little hint too, names. Yeah that’s literally it.
Also I’m assuming the medallions are a part of Aragorn’s family lineage… and thanks so much for saying that about my story. And thanks for praying for us, we appreciate it!
Blaze and Cleorapta… LOL SunnyFox that’s funny. I’m guessing Blaze or Blue would be fitting names because of the color schemes, I’m wondering which of the two I’ll pick. Or in this case Samuel.

The oasisaur is a newly announced creature coming wraith the add on pack for scorched earth if you go to survivetheark.com you can find the ark news that will tell you what’s going on also I think the latest news shows up on ascendeds Home Screen idk if you own that yet or not though. You could also find it one YouTube but get ready for incredibly whiney YouTubers complaining about ark failing and it being pay to win now..

Hey everyone, how’s it going?
MrDemonRealz, it doesn’t really matter if there are some similar aspects. I checked your two chapters out and the only thing that is similar is 1. Main character doesn’t have implant 2. The way they get there. I do not think there is a problem here so keep carrying making your story, I’ll be sure to read it once your third chapter comes out 👍. I like it so far, although why was John and Tantum removed? I know you said that it would be easier to only focus on 2 people I still think it’d make more interesting if more characters are put into the fray, and John and Tantum would be pretty cool.
SunnyFox, it’s still pretty impressive your story is 10,000 words! You gotta remember most writers here on the Dex barely make it past the first few. So you’ve accomplished something most writers have not.
The lore drop is in Chapter 18 itself… although it’s very subtle and is not directly stated. What would the fun in that be?
Also thanks for saying that about my story, I didn’t know it was your favorite! That’s pretty cool. This is the first time someone say my story is their favorite on something… thanks.
I read Hyaenodon’s Scars Chap 11, glad you got around to writing this one. It’s a little short (much shorter than Tortuga!) but still so much more to uncover. So it turns out Roxy is within the Hyaenodon’s tribe already… almost like an undercover, I wonder how no body was able to even figure it out. She’s like a ghost. Well, she can’t be a ghost because Axel can see her too. I wonder why she is killing innocent hyaenodons, it’s pretty sad that a baby died and an old one too… 🙁. Now the Council of Hyaenodons probably thinks Zora really is a murderer, especially Nathaniel.
Moving onto Tortuga… WOW you got a lot written down in the past two chapters! Darn it I can’t believe I didn’t catch on with Emma getting hit twice compared to Jack and Jay! I should’ve said something about that in the last post… I wonder why Hawkthorne did that. Maybe she sees herself in Emma and wants to release her anger onto her, which is totally uncool btw, don’t do that Hawkthorne!
Anyway moving onto Mayor Creepazoid. Geez louise, this guy doesn’t know when to stop. He clearly doesn’t know how to read signs… He is a huge red flag, a huge red flag that is blowing in the wind for EVERYONE to see. He doesn’t even care about the fact that Emma is crying or that she was hurt. He only cares about getting with the pretty girl. Also Creepazoid can’t even get his facts straight with the age… he was the son of the mayor I’m sure he should know more about the people on Tortuga. Also Emma definitely cooked Creepazoid alive, you go get it girl! And I guess I exist in the Tortuga Cinematic Universe because she mentioned me 😁, or maybe that’s just a 4th wall break. And Creepazoid is definitely afraid of Aragorn, her father. He does NOT want to talk to him about how Emma doesn’t wanna go out with him.
Anyway moving onto Jack and Jay, I think I know what Jack’s power is. Or what the medallion/necklace gift is. He probably can heal wounds super fast, huh? Maybe a little bit of pain nullification too, in which case… that’s pretty cool! Pretty useful ability. It makes me wonder what the other Peterson's children are, especially Aragorn and Arianna. Do they have medallions too? Or maybe I’m wrong.
WOO HOO EMMA AND ANDREW, COUPLE GOALS! These two get along so well man, I can see the chemistry improvement right away SunnyFox good job on that. Also Aragorn accepts Andrew now… that’s sweet. He got the fatherly approval! The ship’s sailed for those two now, (and Eric and Elizabeth it seems). And Aragorn is a great dancer, huh? I agree with Jay, maybe he is a good swordfighter. Maybe that’s how he protects the family.
Creepazoid must be pretty mad that Emma decided to go with Andrew. I hope he doesn’t do anything rash… I really hope he doesn’t do anything to Andrew I’d actually jump out of my seat and be like “NAHHHH”. (Also Jay called him a creepazoid, LOL!!!)
Emma must be really in love because she giggled (and she never giggles according to the story). These two are so cute together raghhhh.
And finally, Aragorn and Arianna talk about a girl who became mad with love because of her ‘friend’. I wonder who she is talking about? At first I thought she was talking about Tom’s fiance/wife/lover (who is now gone ☹️), but it doesn’t make sense they’d talk about Tom lightly. Maybe they’re talking about themselves, which is even cuter. And from that conversation it seemed like they were enemies to friends to lovers, which is really COOL.
Alright enough blabbering, but those last two chapters were really fun to read. Seeya next time. Chapter 19 should come out tmrrw.
Ben, wow y’all have a LOT of words in y’all’s stories. My story only has 10,171. Also I’m so happy u love my story! I honestly didn’t think anyone would bc it doesn’t seem very Arky bc it’s AFTER the arks. And yeah, “Mr. Creepazoid” isn’t gonna dance with Emma. Nuh uh, no way. Now I won’t spoil anything else for u, the next chapter is coming soon!
Also I just read your new chapter. I’m very curious about Aurora and who this “she” they are talking about. Also that gold locket? What is that? And Ben, his powers are so unique. I have so many questions! I can’t wait for the next chapter! Anyways…cya around!
