Sorry I haven’t posted in a while. Last weekend my Grandpa had to go to the ER for some heart problems. Long story short, he is doing a little better and is now on oxygen. Appreciate prayers for that. Anyways, so some of our family came into town so I was hanging out with them for the week. Glad to be back on a normal schedule though and excited to get back to writing.

*Obi wonton slices with lightbreadstick*
*bananakin, in agony, continues shouting about baked goods*
Obi wonton: “You were the chosen one! It was said you would destroy the Zest, not join them! Bring balance to the feast, not leave it in dark chocolate!”
*more agonizing groans about food*
Bananakin: “I DATE (the fruit) YOU!!”
Obi wonton: “You were my broth-er, Bananakin.. I loafed you..”
*bananakin sets on fire, creating a delicious aroma and melting him*

The lost colony. I’ve seen the name but not the trailer. VAMPIRES?! That sounds sick! I mean I can’t get it because I don’t have ASA *Sobs* but I’ll be happy to see what it looks like over the Wiki. Oh and sorry for not responding for the last few days. I’ve been busy. But let’s see if I’ll stay here for a while!

TarrWasTaken, I cannot wait to see your Aberration POV story! There’s not many on this website, besides the one Tacrow just wrote. I’ll read it when it comes out.
Tacrow, I’m loving Ark: Redemption so far! I’m interested to learn more about what the story will be about. Haven’t seen the POV of a Rock Drake in a while (that’s what the MC is right?) Anyway I’ll be around for Chapter 2 when it comes out.
Jerrald, Chapter 5 and 6 of The Island was great! I’m loving the way Marcel is progressing so far. So far the story has taken a much more different pace and tone compared to the other survivor-style stories present on the DDEX. I think it’s a singleplayer ARK, since we haven’t encountered any other humans yet, and Marcel hasn’t really been attacked by any savage cavement, and since you said earlier it’s based off your experiences in ARK (most people don’t like playing PVP multiplayer). You could develop some interesting plots based off that, since most people crave human interaction so much. I’m assuming Marcel has some sort of past too, though we haven’t seen what yet. I also love the way Marcel questions the resemblance of the Obelisk with the Implants, and that probably foreshadows how he’ll eventually investigate the Obelisk (which won’t be very fun since that means going away from the beach). I’m curious to see what happened on Day 9, and I too hope you will finish this story one day!

Important Announcement: Chapters 31+ are currently under the planning stage, I’m going to figure out what I’m going to do for the REST OF THE STORY so this may take a little while… perhaps a week at the maximum? But after planning is done I should be able to confirm the total amount of chapters before the end of the story… how much left can I predict? Still quite a bit: i wont spoil much but there are 10 artifacts in the original game…

Heya dudes and dudettes! My name is Paul, and I’m Ben’s buddy! Long before Ben made this story of his, he created an Ark story called “Arks: Beyond Time”. It features me as the main character!!! Isn’t that amazing? Well, Ben is saying right now that I’m NOT, but I think he’s a liar. Why else would my name show up 247 times throughout that story? That must mean that I was the one destined for greatness! Nyah hah hah, Ben says it’s a flawed work that needs revision… but I disagree! Anything with ME in it automatically makes it a masterpiece! Hi everyone, PrimalApex here with something special. A teaser!!! The event in this teaser happens just before chapter one of Journey. Which I plan to be one year after the ending of The Obelisk. The story will go in reverse all order. So in Yutyrannus and Prologue and Chapter one will be in the same section. This won’t start releasing until after the final chapter of The Obelisk. This has no real spoilers to the story in this teaser but it does have some part to the story. I hope you enjoy!!!
Journey: Teaser
It was a quiet night near the green obelisk, barely a cricket chirped. It seemed like any normal night. But for one particular creature, it wasn’t. The creature walked up the ramp of the green obelisk and stood there for a moment. His toe claw tapped on the metal of the obelisk base. He didn’t know why, but it gave him a slight bit of relief for what he was about to do. It didn’t stop him from shaking like a scared wolf pup. He placed an item down by the base of the terminal and started to walk away. But after a few yards he stopped and hesitated.
‘Why am I doing this, I don’t have to.’ He thought. ‘I have it good right now, why should I be doing this.’. He turned around, walked back over to the item and reached for it. But he stopped himself from grabbing it though.
“No, I have to do this. It’s the only way.” He said to himself quietly.
‘I’ll give it two, maybe three weeks before it’s all over. But who knows.’ He thought. He turned around and ran down the ramp and into the canyon, towards the forest. What he left behind at the base of the terminal wasn’t anything valuable or useful to him or many others. What he had left there was a rare flower. But what this flower meant to him was far more significant than to anyone else around him that night.
Moon!!!! I’m glad you’re back!!!!! I just read chapter 96!!!!! It was SOO GOOD AND SOO SAD all at once!!!! I didn’t expect Orbit to die TOO!!!!!!!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!!!!

I will come back and read The Arks once I’m caught up with Sunnyfox’s story. I didn’t want to spoil anything from Sunnyfox’s story after reading beginning part of chapter 23.5 (I just realized how far behind I am while writing this... I found the story search!!). Also the reason I didn’t do what you said is because technically Journey is the first fan fiction I have ever done. And I am not ready to spoil anything just yet. so right now I am sticking with the choices I have (though I should have probably done what you said before giving my choices).
I am really liking your story SunnyFox, I’m currently on chapter 6 or 7(couldn’t find 6). And I’m excited to continue it!! I‘ll probably be at the end of it by tonight or tomorrow!!! At the point of writing this post I had just found the story search button like yesterday and feel really stupid that I have been just using the google Dododex as a second source for like six months or longer and didn’t know you could press the story button at the bottom and use it as a search. Would’ve made some of my searches on Dododex a whole lot easier if I found it sooner…
