Hi everyone, PrimalApex here with something special. A teaser!!! The event in this teaser happens just before chapter one of Journey. Which I plan to be one year after the ending of The Obelisk. The story will go in reverse all order. So in Yutyrannus and Prologue and Chapter one will be in the same section. This won’t start releasing until after the final chapter of The Obelisk. This has no real spoilers to the story in this teaser but it does have some part to the story. I hope you enjoy!!!
Journey: Teaser
It was a quiet night near the green obelisk, barely a cricket chirped. It seemed like any normal night. But for one particular creature, it wasn’t. The creature walked up the ramp of the green obelisk and stood there for a moment. His toe claw tapped on the metal of the obelisk base. He didn’t know why, but it gave him a slight bit of relief for what he was about to do. It didn’t stop him from shaking like a scared wolf pup. He placed an item down by the base of the terminal and started to walk away. But after a few yards he stopped and hesitated.
‘Why am I doing this, I don’t have to.’ He thought. ‘I have it good right now, why should I be doing this.’. He turned around, walked back over to the item and reached for it. But he stopped himself from grabbing it though.
“No, I have to do this. It’s the only way.” He said to himself quietly.
‘I’ll give it two, maybe three weeks before it’s all over. But who knows.’ He thought. He turned around and ran down the ramp and into the canyon, towards the forest. What he left behind at the base of the terminal wasn’t anything valuable or useful to him or many others. What he had left there was a rare flower. But what this flower meant to him was far more significant than to anyone else around him that night.
Moon!!!! I’m glad you’re back!!!!! I just read chapter 96!!!!! It was SOO GOOD AND SOO SAD all at once!!!! I didn’t expect Orbit to die TOO!!!!!!!! I can’t wait for the next one!!!!!!

I will come back and read The Arks once I’m caught up with Sunnyfox’s story. I didn’t want to spoil anything from Sunnyfox’s story after reading beginning part of chapter 23.5 (I just realized how far behind I am while writing this... I found the story search!!). Also the reason I didn’t do what you said is because technically Journey is the first fan fiction I have ever done. And I am not ready to spoil anything just yet. so right now I am sticking with the choices I have (though I should have probably done what you said before giving my choices).
I am really liking your story SunnyFox, I’m currently on chapter 6 or 7(couldn’t find 6). And I’m excited to continue it!! I‘ll probably be at the end of it by tonight or tomorrow!!! At the point of writing this post I had just found the story search button like yesterday and feel really stupid that I have been just using the google Dododex as a second source for like six months or longer and didn’t know you could press the story button at the bottom and use it as a search. Would’ve made some of my searches on Dododex a whole lot easier if I found it sooner…

I just realized tonight I COMPLETELY skipped the Chalicotherium in my story. I skipped the Ovis on purpose but the Chalio was on accident. I double checked Chapter 7 and nothing.
Well it spawns on Aberration… should I do it in the Aberration segment, use it in my Chapter 25, or just ignore it entirely?

Duke, Chapter 3 of FAF was very awesome. The glowing baryonyx is very intriguing and I’m wondering what its ties to Jasper are, it really got the wraps on the others. I will be around for Chapter 4.
DiploLover, the past 3-4 chapters of CON were very interesting! We are glad to see that Astra didn’t move on to Prince within just a few days of Apollo’s death, and it just made their little moments of living together just a bit more special. As for the mystery, time-traveling wolf, I have a feeling that it’s Ridley. He’s one of the only tan wolves in the story, and the only reason why he’d help the prophecy wolves is because he had to. The tan wolf in Chapter 34 is most likely Future Ridley. Here’s what I believe happened.
KJ and his group of wyverns were meant to decimate Ridley, Jane, Pax, and Reign, because the cloaked wolf was never a part of that timeline. I imagine that Jane was killed, and Reign and Pax were tamed. Ridley managed to time travel by absorbing Pax’s power, because we know as Shadow he was able to do that along with Adira. Ridley traveled back into the past, long before Ridley had ever become Shadow or met the Prophecy Wolves, but still at a point of time where he got his powers from the Beyond (as we know, Past Ridley was unfamiliar with those experiences he obtained after traveling into the future). Future Ridley then transported Past Ridley into the present day that we are familiar with, where their plan began to save themselves from KJ and his group. After that happened, Past Ridley (who I’ll now call Cloaked Ridley) obtained all the memories of Present Ridley (the Ridley we know). Cloaked Ridley was ordered by Future Ridley to interfere with KJ’s plans of killing the Prophecy Wolves at the swamp. Using his invisibility, intangibility, and Future Ridley’s knowledge Cloaked Ridley sabotaged the attack and saved the Prophecy Wolves. The reason why he said “I’m back.” to Present Ridley is still unknown to me, but if Present Ridley was meant to survive and travel back into the past then that means he’d be the next Future Ridley. This explains why Future Ridley tpld Cloaked Ridley not to kill all the humans or something. Present Ridley will now have to travel back into the past and be the next Future Ridley, so the integrity of the timeline remains stable and so that it doesn’t mess up how things shouldve gone. If the humans were killed, Present Ridley won’t feel a need to travel into the future, and everything will be messed up. The Future Ridley of now is the one who started the loop.
I know it’s Ridley, because him, Duke, and Apollo were the only confirmed ManipulationPaws. Not only that, but Ridley is tan, and Duke wouldn’t care to save his brother after what he did to him. Thus, it has to be Ridley. As for how Future Ridley could heal Cloaked Ridley, I’m not sure. I think it’ll have something to do with the Diplo’s Weeds (this sounds so wrong lol). Future Ridley probably found it and could absorb it to heal Prince, but wanted to keep the others alive so went back into the past to change the future. I think Present Ridley will keep going, find the weed, then Cloaked Ridley will appear and make Present Ridley travel into the past to fulfill Future Ridley’s roles. Cloaked Ridley will become the new Present Ridley, with only a few memories misaligned and incorrect. I think this will be how Jane comes to trust Ridley again, because this Ridley technically never did anything wrong, he only has the memories of the current Ridley. Yeah I made it more complicated than I should have.

Hello everyone! Chapter 96 is out in Paraceratherium! There are now 4 chapters of TAOH left! Anyway, that was nice. It actually went better than I thought. This is a reminder that it might seem hard writing a chapter at first but once you get into the flow of it it becomes a thousand times easier.
Hello Moon Tales Girl! Welcome to Achatina section! Your story Moon Tales is very cool.
Break-it, sometimes you need to reflect on the direction of your story and what you want to do with it. Understanding that mastery doesn’t come immediately is fine, because if you work hard enough toward your goal of mastery you’ll reach it. Mastery is a very interpretive matter but I think you’re close to reaching it. You still need to work on a few things such as a consistent writing schedule and overall some more important literature topics that don’t need to be covered right now but your dialogue and plot and ideas with the story are doing great so far, so don’t give up! Anyway seeya around i sent a message about your previous three chapters a bit ago (although not too sure if you saw it yet). Anyway I noticed you just finished QOA. I hope it was as fun to read as I had fun reading it. I suggest heading over to read Hope’s Cry next by MrGhostGamer. The story is in the All filter alphabetically, although you will need to skip boss creature sections. The story is 24 chapters long and not too long of a read.
Sylveevee, Chapter 2 of WOA was awesome sauce! I wonder what Drake’s vision was all about and what the stone Sylveevee picked up was. Still curious about why Sylveevee and Pat betrayed Moonhigh. I think it’ll come up later. I’m guessing the story Drake learned was about the Phantom Legends as teased. Well that was a fun chapter overall!
SunnyFox57, Chapter 4 of The Lost Soul was great! It was so nice seeing Bella again even though we didn’t see her much in TTOTSP. I’m guessing the voice Tom keeps hearing is the Krakos. And now the strange thing in the shadows makes sense, it’s Bella who noticed and smelled Tom’s scent and decided to follow him. I can’t wait to see how the rest of Lost Soul goes!
Chapter 18 of The Lost World was also really nice. Kinda sad Chapter 17 can’t get posted because of technical issues but oh well. I don’t like Cedric as much as the others. I think my favorite characters are in the order Rowan, Kannon, Elayne, Oliver, and then Cedric. Cedric’s prankster ways come off as more selfish and inconsiderate than the other characters and in my opinion I actually don’t like him as much as Samuel from TAOH. Anyway it’s nice seeing Rowan get out of her comfort zone and learn to be more vulnerable and expressive. Wonder what that thing at the end was… Eh, we’ll figure out soon. Unless you pull a cliffhanger and have it in like the chapter after.
Moon, Chapter 10 of Pandora was really great! I really enjoyed the symbolism of the deformed bird and its parallel to Pandora. The fact that Pandora was able to envision the Flier horde again with her visions was really trippy and honestly really cool. I’m still going to place my bets on the fact that the thing scaring the horde is the Dodorex, which was teased on Fandom. I can also sense the tension between Bria and Rainstone. I hope they become friends and we get another convo between them. Also can’t wait to see Toxin actually pull his own weight and talk to people on his own… Anyway that was a good chapter, I can’t wait for the next! And also for whatever you could be planning and scheming…
Wyvernian, Chapter 49 of TOT was awesome! The banter between Nova and Fjordur’s Dragon about the whole name thing was pretty funny. The teleportation of all the villains was also really well done and makes sense since the White Obelisk can do it with the heroes. Drain’s transformation into the wyvern-like creature was also really cool. Also Rockwell’s Innards… can’t wait for HC Rockwell to discover this region eventually. Anyway since I think we’re nearing the end of the arc we should all discus which groups go to which regions of the TOT map for the corruption apocalypse arc we were planning right we’re doing that next? Anyway can’t wait to see what PrimalApex does for Chapter 50… (WOAH WE’RE THAT FAR IN CRAZY).
Although, I would say that I did not really appreciate the stab at Samuel in this chapter. I didn’t mind him crying over Star betraying him, but describing him as “broken” felt a bit disrespectful and done only because he is not a likable character within TAOH. I could also go over the fact that Star was described to not have the capability or desire to go out or do anything due to her feelings of not being there for Samuel, and thus it would be illogical for her to act out against him (this was explicitly stated in the Fandom discussion chain), I will not go over it now. Some communication about some of my characters would be appreciated and I think the same for others. I literally do not care what you do with them as long as I am told about it. I try my best to make everyone’s characters accurate and true to themselves and I expect the same from you. Anyway, nothing personal!

Wyvernian, yeah I understand all of that. I just wasn’t sure if it was implied or lore. It definitely does make a lot of sense for the tidal lock to have been reverted and the Earth rotation to start once again. But,(SPOILER ALERT FOR THOSE WHO HAVEN’T READ THE LORE!) I did find on the Ark wiki lore page that it does say that during or around the time of when Diana and Li Mei Yin had uploaded Helena Daus to the Genesis Ship from Arat Prime that the Earth was still in tidal lock. Though I am not sure if this is canon or not since it’s in the wiki and not in the lore itself but the wiki is supported by the developers so I don’t know what to think about it. So it’s just a guessing game for us until we see Arat Prime in ASA with the full lore added to it. But another thing that I am definitely excited for more questions answered through the Animated Series with the lore more analyzed and explained in detail. Woo hoo Chapter 18 is released! So I made a miscalculation and I accidentally released Chapter 17 in Ichthyornis, so Chapter 18 will be in Lymantria. I rereleased Chapter 17 anyway in Manticore because it feels kinda weird to just leave it like that. Anyway, I’m pretty proud of myself since I reached 21,000 words for Arks Over Heaven! Woo hoo! For reference the Obelisk is 46,000 words!
So yeah, I’m pretty happy that I’ve managed to make it so far…
SunnyFox, I just LOVE Demise of Tortuga. It’s actually been a huge blast to read. It’s probably my favorite story on the platform right now. Maybe I just needed a breath of fresh air from all the Dinosaur POV stories. I just love all the dynamics and stuff so far. It’s impressive you’ve made a lot of progress since you’ve started, I’m proud of you.
Anyway ill discuss the recent chapters. So it seems Jack and Jay are learning how to fight with swords… awesome, and it seems Eric’s father Josh knows how to fight with swords too. And was arrested at some point… maybe he doesn’t like how Tortuga is run (like the mayors and laws). And aw man, Chapter 19 is really sad. Why’d Hawkthorne had to do that man?? I guess corporal punishment is allowed on Tortuga… which sucks, it must have really hurt for Emma and Jay and Jack. Also I guess I feel a little bad for Hawkthorne. She was treated the same way when she was little too, and it seems she doesn’t like the new mayors either (she probably thinks they’re brats because they’re so young… since michael was only 17 i think). I still don’t know who was the lesser of the two evils though, Hawkthorne or Tom or Mr Creepazoid or whoever. I guess Mr Creepazoid since he doesn’t really have a reason to be bad.
Also the worldbuilding is cool. I’m wondering if the Volcano, El Elemento is a volcano in the real game. Maybe the volcano on the Island map? That would be cool, or maybe just a completely different one. Also so unfair Aaron Jr gets ignored like that, like cmon he got his hand raised Hawkthorne!!!!
Also Andrew’s such a gentleman 🥺. Wanting to help Emma is so nice of him.
And this ball that the mayors are holding… Goodness Mr Creepazoid probably wants to use this as an opportunity to get with Emma. Too bad Emma already has a dance partner, 😉 (hint hint his name starts with an A and ends with a W).
Well this was so much fun to read and write. Although I think youll be interested in the lore drop of Ben in Over Heaven, seeya!
