PrimalApex, you’re right! I’m not going to stop posting my story here. I will keep writing it!!! I’m not going to be scared that the developer will copy my story. (I don’t think he will anyway) I’m going to finish my series and get to finished story land.

Sunnyfox, what you could do is continue writing your series on here but also write it on a Docs page, and once you finish the series. Release the Docs page so everyone can read it all without having to get stuck trying to find all the chapters.
As for me, I am going to continue my stories on here. I’m not gonna let fear or anything else make me second guess to use this site or to just discontinue my stories.

Yeah that sounds good Ben. I can’t wait to see what happens next in TAOH!!! Idk if I should continue my story on here. I want to but at the same time… I don’t want my story being copied. Although I don’t think that the developer would do that tho bc the Dex has been around since 2017 or do and no one’s stories have been copied before. Anyways…idk. Cya later guys. 🙂

Sunnyfox, I forgot to mention that I read chapter one of TDP earlier!!!! I hope Jack busted Shortstack’s nose good!!! I’m glad we got to see how Jack got off Tortuga too!!! I really enjoyed it!! I can’t wait for the next chapter of TDP!!!

its okay Primal Apex, its for the best anyway. This site isnt exactly the best place for posting anyway, and if everythings on a google doc you can scroll back to view previous chapters for ease, and it can be bookmarked so it can be viewed at any time. Plus, you can add comments to google docs so idk i thought thatd be cool if you can comment on a specific scene thats cool or interesting 🙂
and while i highly doubt the creator would take our stories, theres still a probability, yk?

Yeah, I understand that, I mean I have mild arachnophobia but I still wanted to see it come in aberration. I did vote against it in Scorched, but I felt it didn’t fit that map well. The Yingi probably would’ve done better in Scorched for me than the Jumper. The only reason I thought it might be the Jumper is because the submitter was talking about something that they weren’t sure was going to happen. They also said if whatever they were trying didn’t work out, they would have a modder to make it. But it might have been something else they were planning for it. I really don’t see how it can be stealing an idea when they submitted it as an idea for the game? Garuga’s Conca ability is one thing, but adding a creature that was submitted with specific abilities that are same to the submitted is different.
Also I understand that, I mean several authors that try to do that. Micheal Crichton, Stan Lee, Suzanne Collins, probably a lot more. Heck the person who started the backrooms on YouTube is directing his own high budget film. Also I really doubt that the owner of the dex would pirate any of the stories on here. I was just saying that if WC decided to ask about making a What If…? series (very doubtful to happen with WC track on working on projects) and wanted to use our stories, they would probably go to him first about it for permission before trying to track down all of us.

Apex, yes dododex legally can use or market our stories, I meant if I ever write a real book some day. That’s one of the reasons I don’t want to tell you guys too much about my story idea because though I doubt Dan would pirate my story I do worry that it could be stolen in some way by a rando like if they coined the name or used the plot or the magic system, (it’s fantasy style) though if that did happen ooooooh they’d get some bad publicity if I had anything to say about it…
And as for meavia, I don’t think wildcard would use it for the adventure pack because people would consider it wildcard stealing an idea, they did that when the fasola was revealed saying that they stole Garuga’s sand Dino thing I can’t spell the name of.. if wildcard added a spider as the aberration creature it wouldn’t be either of the ones from the votes they’d make something new up it may be the same species or the same abilities but it would be different, the only way the jumper can get in is if the creator or someone else posts it for Val or something and it wins, ya know.. whenever they finally start the votes again… I would love a rideable tarantula like spider creature to be on aberration though it would be so cool! Problem is the fact that it’s a spider majorly hurts it’s chances in the votes, because of arachnophobia, which is kinda stupid in my opinion, I fear heights but I don’t want them to stop adding cliffs.. it’s a game… and it’s very rare to have an abnormal crippling fear of spiders it’s usually just you don’t like them, which is again a stupid reason to vote against it. It probably would’ve won scorched if not for people spider hating, though I do like the fasola better for the map. And again the reason it lost aberration is because the two spider fanbases screwed each other by putting the opposing spider last on their list.

PrimalApex i really hope not Jenny was such a cool character 😢, last we saw her she had fled the kingdom after their parents' death, and she managed to escape by shapeshifting into an old lady (if i remember correctly). Really really hope she doesnt die! She was so kind to James/Aragorn.
And wait if the medallions gave them extra lives.. then theyre like implants in a way! Allowing the user to respawn.. Could that mean Aragorn/James and other medallion users who may have perished be alive?
Well Edward's probably dead. Maybe tampering with the medallions prevents revival or more coming of lives.
And the Dark Phoenixes can revive people...
Might have to ask them to revive Paul 🤣
Alright Chapter 42 will come out tmmrw, no excuses, maybe even 43 if i have time. One more thing about my story; the royal scientist of Mr. Mo's settlement is a reference to another guy. I think he'll be cool in the future. I also think their powers will be interesting. And finally im hoping this arc will make you have a new favorite character!
All will be revealed in time apex, no spoilers (except at the end of this but that’s less of a spoiler)
Also I feel like I used the name Oak for a gigantopithicus before but maybe it was an idea when I was naming Birch, idk anyway I’m gonna write the next chapter now, just gotta remember.. is it arctic or jungle… 😆 my memory is usually good but I can never remember which story arc is next… I think it’s arctic, also did I do ok with the real queen plot twist? I’m trying to have mystery and suspense but it’s hard to tell if it’s actually surprising anyone when I know what’s gonna happen so it’s not surprising to me. Also remember when the wyvern queen was asking if the guard if they had found more of “that metal” now.. what metal do feroxes love… (you didn’t read that.🤫)

I watched episode 1 of the animated series, they didn’t go too overboard with the Helena having a wife thing luckily, I hate how Rockwell is a murderous psychopathic maniac.. he is just supposed to be a scheming sociopath that gets obsessed with element, why would they change that and completely change the character, and what is gonna happen on scorched and aberration if Helena knows he’s evil.. other than that it’s pretty good and close to the lore, but I worry for the next seasons because what they’ve changed is gonna mess them up really hard. Oh also why would they take away the implants being universal translators? It’s kind of a nitpick but that just seems unnecessary, so know they are just gonna say that Mei yin, Rya, Nerva, etc just learned English I feel like it’s just an excuse for them to speak in their own languages but I mean they still could’ve just seems off. Also the Dino size changes are kinda weird, I don’t mind it they just made them their real life sizes but why make it more realistic.. that’s part of the story, the arks are artificial and the Dinos are bioengineered the inaccuracies are intentional I hope oraneos aren’t tiny that would be weird in the broodmother fight..

Ok soo Prologue of TDP released and we got a bunch of lore! So there are five phoenix kingdoms, and they used to be one but they split because of tensions regarding the next heir. Shadow Phoenix was one of them, but the title of this series is Through the Eyes of the Dark Phoenix, not shadow, so we're probably seeing some characters related to that. Someone named Princess Nora rules this kingdom (oooh i wonder who this is? 😁) well, thats who we saw in the Final Chapter! So most likely the Dark is against the Shadow Kingdom. Also PrimalApex was right, the medallions were made from implants but also contained element.
Im excited to see where this goes. Probably follows up with the final chapter. Well seeya!
Wyvernian, yeah I’ve been wondering the same things that you mentioned. I still think that the Jumper has a good chance to be the Aberration adventure pack creature. But it looks to me that if it isn’t, it’s gonna be some sort of fictional creature. I also think that they’re going to add habitable on the surface because of the weird cyan area below the crags on the image of the adventure pack. It definitely was new and not a current biome in Aberration. But I am asking a lot of the same questions myself. Also I’m really excited about Scorched Earth’s release this Sunday. Which is a day ahead of what they told us! Which is shocking to hear from WC. I am expecting some sort of delay, but let’s hope it releases early instead as they say!!! Also I REALLY hope it’s a full map expansion and not just a few details or just a cave. They did say they were expanding it, but they haven’t said by how much.
Also I’d agree with you there on having the final say on the script if they ever asked to use my story. But doesn’t this site hold the right to license our stories without attribution to us? I mean it’s says that at the bottom of Submit Tip page on the app. I don’t know, maybe that’s only for the tips on this site and not for rights of the stories.

Ben, supposedly Bob is supposed to respawn on each of the arks and extinction.. idk what that means for the lore of the show… it’s obviously way different because Helena only invented respawning at the end of extinction so I’m confused.. but Bob is supposed to be in every first few episodes probably always cannon fodder though, I’m guessing this is true because he’s supposed to have notes on the four maps but idk we’ll see.
Apex, they actually said that the blimp is for the surface.. does that mean the three surface areas will be connected now? Will somewhere be habitable? Will the new season pass creature be on the surface? What repercussions will this have to the lore? SO MANY QUESTIONS! Also scorched next Sunday/Monday… so excited I really hope it’s expanded they have basically confirmed new caves but is that all??
Sunny, I would absolutely love if wildcard made a like What if..? style series that’s based on different fan fictions, but it’ll never happen unfortunately, they’d have to contact us somehow and get approval and then they’d have to animate them, and they can barely make their own game and show 😆 also they’d probably butcher them, I refuse to have anyone make a movie out of any of my future books unless I control the script! Too many good books get ruined by unfaithful adaptations..
also I’ve had an original idea for a book I want to write, for basically my whole life, it started with custom Lego figures 😂 obviously I’ve thought it through a bit more than when I was 9 though. I kinda want to share the idea with you guys but I worry some loser will steal the idea or trademark the name or something.. anyway that’s all, off to read obelisk chapter 98.

SPOILER ALERT!!!! Do not read if you haven’t already read Sunnyfox’s series of stories!!!
Alright, I said I was gonna do and now is the time. My comparison to superheroes/villains to Sunnyfox’s character abilities.(majority being compared to superheroes). I’ll go from prequel to sequel.
King Edward: His ability of Super Strength is comparable to Spider-Man’s Strength.
Aragon: This is surprisingly the most unique character ability I’ve seen. This sadly means that I don’t have a real good comparison to him.
Tom: Tom’s mind and memory manipulation is very comparable to the MCU Hero/Villain, Scarlet Witch. However, in his Krako’s form, he seems to have extreme strength and durability comparable to the Hulk or Abomination.
Jenny: Jenny’s shapeshifting ability is definitely one of my favorite abilities seen and can be compared to the Marvel Mutant, Mystique.
Emma: Her ability to see events through space and time can be compared to one of the abilities of an iteration of the DC Meta-human character, Vibe from The Flash tv show.
Jay: His ability is comparable to many heroes and villains, but I believe the DC meta-human Edwin Gauss is one of the best to compare with him.
Jack: His rapid regeneration is easily comparable to Wolverine’s regeneration. Though it probably is debatable that it’s more like another Marvel Mutant that I will not mention.
Josephina: Best comparison for Josephina is by far… Eliza Thornberry. For a serious answer a good comparison would be the Marvel Mutant, Chat.
Jaquin: His ability can be compared to one of the abilities of DC’s character Hal Jordan, The Green Lantern.
Marvelo: his ability of telekinesis can be compared to the Marvel Mutant, Jean Grey.
Brutus: His ability of Mass Manipulation isn’t clear on if he can both enlarge and decrease his mass. But his ability can be compared to DC’s Atom Smasher or Marvel’s Goliath or Giant-Man.
Camille: Camille’s ability of flight and unnatural wings with extreme strengths can be comparable to DC’s Hawkgirl.
Willow: Willow’s ability to phase through objects and can make objects phase is comparable to DC’s Flash or MCU’s Ghost. Though more like Ghost than The Flash.
Sylvia: Slyvia’s ability is similar to Jay’s with teleportation, a comparable character is DC’s Meta-human character Gypsy.
Daniel: Daniel’s super strength has not been determined, however his strength is probably comparable to Drax. Slightly stronger than Edward’s ability.
Peggie: Unknown currently
Okay, I think I did that correctly. I hope I did. If anyone has any suggestions or objections to one of my comparisons (except for Jack), I’ll gladly take it as advice. If I missed anything or messed anything up, please feel free to let me know.
