Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen. This is your [LATE] ARK Community News.
Since our last broadcast, several things have occurred in which are fairly big news pieces.
Firstly, two new evolutions have been introduced for the Veilwyn, the lovable Ice Fox Companion. Both being introduced in a sort of Ying-Yang to one another.
First, being the alien equivalent of a Hell Hound, the Malwyn. Being black as though charred with a glowing red belly and three sets of eyes. This ‘98 Godzilla Mutant of a creature evolves from the Veilwyn when a Veilwyn is exposed to a mysterious substance to become the Malwyn. Driven by two things, and two things only. To hunt and to kill. This beast is only driven to hunt down its target, kill it, and move on. As it’ll be a lethal weapon in your arsenal.
Much of the Yang to the Malwyn’s Ying. The Solwyn is an icy angelic in form, it’s fur almost looking like fire, it’s body translucent, being able to see its bones from the outside. Being evolved from the Veilwyn when a Veilwyn is exposed to a different substance to become a the Solwyn. Its purpose, to protect those to whom it bonded to. They will chase you through the icy landscape of Arat Prime to protect you from any danger.
Both will be ridable forms and be available day one of Lost Colony’s release on December 16th.
In other news, both the Quetzal and Giganotosaurus were locked in for their TLCs. With the next to be locked in is most likely the Therizinosaurus this Friday. As of right now, this is the ranking. But there is a significant difference in votes between sixth and fifth, so any changes in the ranking are unlikely.

Lastly, The Paleo Ark Therizinosaurus TLC has been released. Making a more paleo accurate version of the Therizinosaurus. Increasing its size to be more akin to the size comparison it would be to ARK’s Rex as the Irl Therizinosaurus would be to the Irl Rex. It is on the ASA mod page right now and will be updated frequently to keep it balanced. This is just a TLC and is not buffed or has any new special features the regular version has.

GitezGood, Chapter 9 Part 4 of TFOF was cool, I’m interested to see how getting the help of Lionfeather and the griffins will go considering the history.
Sylveevee, Chapter 2 - 3 of SOH:SOTS was great! I’m interested to learn more about the humans Silinia and Jake.
Jerrald, Chapter VIII was great! And I guess Chaz was the name of the Pego, whoops. Anyway I enjoyed the chapter even though there wasnt too much action, I like how youre going over Marcel’s growing trauma as he continously dies, and the scene where he looks in the water to see the reflection of his scars was really cool. I can’t wait to see his rematch with the Raptor!
RelatingHen, Chapter 35 of JTAC was cool, it was nice seeing how Nal and Dorack ended up on Snowball. So it was all because of a meteor, what bad luck. I honestly thought it would be interference from another person. Anyway it was also cool seeing them befriend that Rex, and I’m interested to see how 36 and 37 will go.
All Good Rockdrake Lover, it happens a lot here!! Might as well say some stuff about me too, I’m the lore crazed, uber dino nerd of the writer’s here. Favorite Ark animals have to be the Shadowmane or Managarmr, for real animals in Ark, the Spino or Cerato.
PD, that’s good to hear!! Kinda sad to hear it’s delayed, but it’s cool nonetheless that you’re doing another project. And that it involves 2D animation!!!!
I think everyone is doing pretty good!!!! Everyone’s been busy but they’re working on their stories!! But yeah, everyone’s doing good!!!

Hey Break-It, nothing much!!! Been sick again. This time with a stomach flu. Not fun at all. Now I’m writing and waiting for chapters to be released so I can read like a happy clam. Glad you’ll be making regular visits here!!!! We’ve missed ya around!!!!
Also, make a note to raise the roof everyone’s comments. Haters are going around and dogging them badly it seems. So we gotta keep the good fight going to them. Remember ya’ll to do your part!!!!

Anyone looking for a good length per chapter that isn’t too long but not too short, Season 2 of Dark Dragons is a good start. It’s an enjoyable story, and although Bob is currently revising Season 1, the rest of Season 2 is great.
Sylveevee, Chapter 1 of SOH:SOTS was great! I can’t wait to see how the rest of Cloud and Jungle’s story goes!
Bob the Survivor, the recent chapters of Dark Dragons Season 2 have been amazing so far. I cannot wait to see how the story goes and how you’ll do Season 1 Reboot now!
Jerrald, the wait for Chapter VII of The Island was so worth it. I understand that life gets pretty busy sometimes, so that’s quite reasonable. A lot of us actually have been busy too, which is why story rate has decreased somewhat. Anyway, it was a great chapter; I loved the encounter with the pet Pegomastax (though who would willingly tame one of those? I feel like their pickpocket for PVP is worthless since they’re so fragile). I’m interested about who “Chaz” is. I assume that stealing his stuff was of malicious intent, so they’ll either be forced to cooperate with Marcel for the sake of survival, or be a minor antagonist against Marcel (they are only using a Pego after all), who will perhaps progressively get stronger and more geared up as Marcel also grows on the Island. I’m interested to see how the interaction will go when they inevitably meet. Also the Raptor encounter was a lot of fun, I like how his stomach was torn open, just like they usually do. Marcel is definitely gonna get trauma from all the repeated deaths, especially with how gruesome they can be (eaten, stabbed, shot…). Though if Marcel can respawn, will Chaz be able to? Or any other Survivors on the Island? Quite intriguing. Anyway, it was an amazing chapter, and I cannot wait to read Chapter VIII!
RelatingHen, Chapters 33 and 34 of JTAC were awesome so far! Rod is growing more and more untrustworthy with each chapter that comes out, and whatever his plans are for when he arrives in Aberration are definitely no good. Elaine is also an interesting figure, as she appears in TCR. I wonder if that will tie in at all to the Multiversal stuff at play. I’m interested about how Tundra managed to show up on Scorched Earth too, and who could have transported her over. Maybe it was Jerboa, as a sign of his appreciation, but how would he know to send it over to SE of all places? Anyway, interested to see how the rest of the SE arc will go. I’m assuming Chapter 37 will be the Manticore fight, and 37.5 the bridge between SE and Aberration. I’m assuming 36 and 35 will both be prep chapters, with either of the two being when they start hunting down the creatures they need to hunt down to clear the list of creatures.
It's gonna be a while before I post DD on here again. I'm going to finish the season one revision, then post season 2, then post season 3 once it finishes. However, I will be posting a non-ARK story (I know, "BLASPHEMY! WTH BRO?!", but it's cool. It has plot holes, but I'll solve them. This sstory is The Protectors, a superhero story in a universe where all major comic brands' heroes and villains exist. The main protagonist is Roy Carlo. He is a very smart character who y'all will learn more about if you read it. Everyone on the wiki at the very least knows of it's existence, but it hasn't been posted on here. I'm going to post in here since people will get mad at me if I post it where the writers aren't a big part of it. At the end of its run, it will have over 400 chapters. It'll be my only story that'll go on past 2030, as of current. I'm also going to be posting The Shadows Beneath, a Fallout-like story that's going to end up being pretty good.
