I have zero idea why I thought this just now because i was just playing ark, but has anyone ever noticed that the fox in Zootopia who gets to be a cop and is not arrested is actually a criminal with a really big debt and is supposed to to be in prison for years? This is the most random thing to think of while playing ark. -BoXXy

Hey BoXXy, I’m so glad you like The Obelisk! Even though I hate it sometimes, it’s still neat to see others reading it and actually liking whatever the heck I was cooking up back then. I’ll always cherish the characters in it, especially when I one day rewrite the story. I recommend my newer ongoing stories since they are much better in writing compared to it, if you ever get around to trying them. And I love your stories, too! They’re great! I can’t seem to find some of the chapters of Dwellings so I haven’t read the full story so far for it yet. The Warrior Pachys is also awesome, I’m interested to see how it will continue! It’s a canon event for us writers to hate our own writing at times lol </3

But you’ll figure more things out as time goes on, and you’ll be proud of yourself when you see how much you’ve improved on it. You’re writing is already wonderful, and it’s sure to only get better from here!

Hey primal!! It’s me, SomeGamerGuy! Thanks for the welcome! I’m not fully sure if I’m gonna make the story though, I have the concept but not that much time to write consistently. Tell me what I should call you, because I heard there is another Apex around here lol. How far have you gotten in grounded? It’s a really fun game for me, I haven’t 100%’d it yet but I’m hoping to.

Also, don’t worry about it, you’re good!!! No one usually posts their stories in Achatina because of this problem. Achatina is the hub for all of the readers and writers to talk about stuff they’ve read, or random things and so on(mainly because, no one actually posts Ark stories about their tamed Achatina in Achatina. Like at one point, someone was posting IRL recipes in here to get activity)!!! I’d probably suggest that you might not post stories in Achatina though, and try reposting them in one of the other creature pages. Because like you shown, people will post here daily. So stories will get severely drowned out by people chatting and so on. And to get around when we posted chapters, we’d post something small saying ‘Ultimus Chapter so on and so forth has been posted/released in Angler’ and such so that way people knew we were still releasing chapters. And 9/10, everyone saw could see the posts. So posting 2-3 times a day isn’t bad, honestly it’s quite nice to see so much activity come back to Achatina these past couple months!!! Heck, we use to post the most completely Ark unrelated things in here, and at our peak, each of us would post 3 times a day. There were so, so many posts coming through here back then, that we would get lost in other peoples conversations and lose the conversation we were just in. So your posts are pretty okay and our easy to keep track of other people’s conversations. Most things considered, I’d just say move your stories to a new creature page so they don’t get buried like I did.

And if you still are worried about hogging and throwing too many unrelated conversations in here. We did make a solution to that because we thought of the same thing years ago. And it involves the Fandom Wiki I mentioned earlier. There is a discussion board that we talk in over there. It’s more convenient to read conversations and we have a lot more legroom to talk about random things all the time. You do need a fandom account but it’s not intrusive at all, and most people can peer into the posts we make without an account. But, you don’t have to join, it is an option, but you’re doing nothing wrong by posting two to three times a day in here BoXXy!!!

And this goes for everyone here too!!! You all can post how much you need to or want to in here!! No one will stop you, and you aren’t gonna bury anyone’s true Achatina stories, because there aren’t ever any in here!!! So post what you need or want to!!! It’s okay to!!!

Also, I had no trouble understanding either of these stories!! And so far, your stories are very good!!! All I would say is dialogue should be more separated from one another on new lines, but otherwise your story is very good so far!!! And I don’t think they’re trash!!!!

And to your question; Yes, Moonflight (or Moon for short) is still very much active. She has finished The Obelisk, but is not finished with the universe she’s wrote in (although it has went through a soft reboot since she wrote The Obelisk.). Currently she is working on three stories within this universe, Clans, Pandora, and See. With a fourth story coming sometime when she’s finished the other said three, which also happens to be the remake of The Obelisk, called Rune.

Damn gamer guy, that’s tight, I’m actually trying to grind a bunch of corrupted hearts on extinction rn (and its probably going to take a few years) but that’s really frustrating, sorry that happened :( I hope you can tame them soon! Hey, same guy who posted the health and melee stat tips here and I want to say, I think telling you one last thing might help some understand a BIT better if you didn’t already,

Think of a gallimimus, 200% speed,

Now think of a Rex with 300% speed, it’s not faster!

Now think of a human with 200 weight, put your stuff that weights 100 into a, let’s say raptor with also 200 weight, if you put your stuff into that raptor he now has 100 out of 200 weight, Just like you! That’s because it’s a exact number, like health and oxygen, but melee and speed are not, so your stats may vary between tames.

FOR YOUR INFORMATION (I’m posting this here because this is the hub for Dododex) I wanted you all to know this:

Let’s say I have a Rex with 2000 health and 200% melee, now the health is an exact number but the melee is not

Now let’s say my enemy is a dodo with 3000 health and 300% melee, the dodo has more health but WONT do more dmg because The dodos dmg is NOT an exact number! It’s practically adding more to the dodos already set damage, but not exactly like that. That’s also why let’s say the ice titan has 500000 health(alpha) and is so hard to kill but only has 170% melee but can still one shot you level 200 Rex. It’s because of an exact number VS a % do you get it now? I’m not saying a level 1 Rex with 200 health and 10% melee can’t kill a level222222 dodo with 3000 health and 500% melee but do you get it? Because I hope you don’t kill your level 2500 ice titan because he only has 179% melee, cuz that ice titan can kill almost anything solo (not including any bosses I have not tested that) and if I had a dodo with an. Exact number like 200 melee instead of 200% melee he would take a 300 health Rex to 100 health, but that won’t happen with percentages. hope this helps you calculate some stats better, Bye!
