Tips & Strategies

If you are going to be logged off for a while, make sure to disable wandering, as returning just to find Gary dead is not a happy time.

Stick them on Wonder in a wood cage can still access inventory without opening cage and get that jucie paste that no-one can get from beaver dambs because silly people built in their spawns
Easy way to keep them in place, just fill their inventory with stone. Encumbered, they will not move, even on wander. Then for feeding, put cake in a tough. They will stay in place and alive! Making you resources the whole time... Up to the top for knowledge!
After tame, collects up to 100 paste, then organic poly. Leave on wander and come back. ONLY eats veggie cakes even after tame.
TIPP: Achatinas can produce organic Polymer. You can just craft a fridge with the organic Polymer and destroy it. Every time you destroy a fridge you get normal Polymer back. That means you can transform organic Polymer to normal Polymer. I found it out yesterday by myself.
(It also works with organic Oil)
STOP saying that it drops angler gel, this is only true on mobile. spread the word!
Only eat veggie cakes even when tamed, do t get fooled.
They can breed now in ASA !
If you set multiple on wandering in a small spot, theyβll pop babies !
When tamed, the Achatina can produce Achatina paste, an alternative to cementing paste, passively when on wandering. You could also collect it when they are moving, their paste/slime will be on the ground shaped in a similar feces ball.
The achatina is a small snail, carryable by hand, that can be useful if you are missing a small amount of cementing paste, and canβt be bothered to go and get the supplies to craft more. It poops and passively generates achatina paste, which is identical functionally and visually to cementing paste. It can hold up to 100 at a time.
ONLY LEVEL UP ITS FOOD. Tame high level snails only, as they have high food stats. Cakes are expensive, so you want to go as long as possible without having to feed the snails.
