You have to enable wandering for it to passively generate cementing paste, so build a small pen for them to slime around in then go collect your reward. Also, don’t use a feeding trough…The cake spoils too quickly for how hard it is to make, I recommend hand feeding them before you get off each day, it will save you A LOT of resources and they will not die from starvation in that amount of time.
