Okay, so yeah, Big Brother is Ben, so, yep, you all figured out pretty quickly. The flower is a giveaway but a few other details may have as well: 1. the taco scene and 2. chocolate milk scene.

And Emma, its definitely not That Emma, these relatives are actually based off my real relatives, and technically this characters been around since like 2020. BUT the Andrew reference is a nod to Andrew in TROTP.

And yes, all the relatives/cousins have powers without the use of an implant. Theres a huge lore reason for this, and its highly hinted at in Chapter 55.5 and 50.5. But most likely it would take ages to figure out until the prequel releases.

Big Brother/Ben forgetting this part of their lives may have something to do with a relative's power; Emma's. Might as well spill the beans since we're never seeing the relatives for a while, but Emma can temporarily wipe the memory of others. This is proven as in her introduction she threatens to make Jeffrey "forget", and Jeffrey nods in affirmation. So Big Brother chose to forget for some unknown reason.

Big Brother himself had a very niche ability that only activates in very specific cirumstances. We actually see the power in action in Chapter 23.5. But he also forgot, and his power is practically worthless if he doesnt know about it

Little Kayla and Tanya also have powers, even though its not directly stated. Little Kayla has a burn mark on her face (fire powers), and Tanya hides behind a plant (earthbending).

Franklin's power is luck if it wasnt obvious
