Tips & Strategies

What are tips for achatina? Tips and strategies for achatina in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
The Achatina is a passive tame, using the expensive resource of Sweet Vegetable Cake. Using a taming pen would be the most suitable strategy, due to the Achatina being found in the Swamps and Redwood Forest, some of the more dangerous areas of the ARK. Plus, the Achatina is a small enough creature for any ridable flying mount to grab it up, adding on to strategy of using a taming pen for this critter.
They suck at attacking only good for cementing paste and organic polymer though they are fast they get destroyed by Dilos and bigger preditors I have never seen them get attacked by gigas though
Just get a crossbow and aim for the head.Try to upgrade it to 14% and it should be easy to kill the achatina. Dont use melee it's harder to kill it then.
You don't have to tame them they make the goo even if not tamed just put them in a pen and watch them go
Honestly you dont need to tame one of these at all. They are a very important Dino but if your just starting out and have no farm just make a little stone cage and find a few in the jungle, pick them up with a ptera or argent and place in cage. They can stay wild and still drop a ton of CP no need to waste sap or crops!
Way more narco then what it says in here atleast take 100 for a lvl 50
Can also produce organic cementing paste, but takes a longer time
Being koo
Remember not to shoot anywhere but the head, it will inflict less torpor other places.
they made me use all my vegis after they were tamed, be warned
So I've just tamed a lvl 290 on SE and it took almost double of everything to what is said that it's ment to of taken.. heads up Dododex is way way out on this tame
They make achatina paste till they have one stack(100) and then begin producing organic polymer as long as the paste remains. They also increase the spoil time of organic polymer when in their inventory. Be sure to have plenty of cakes or they will starve. You can still get a lot of paste before they die though so not a complete waste if you cannot continue feeding. Only tame low level achatina.
Located in and around the swamp, useful for cementing paste!
Ptes can carry them
Tip for new players: The Early Game category says this is a Early Game creature, its Encountering wise, not taming, its near the beach swamps and non aggressive, but it needs to be knocked out and it needs to be quick as to slow and it curls up in its shell, it eats sweet vegetable cake that is hard to get requireing giant bee honey wich is a late/mid game item requireing ghille and high level health and speed, ghille needs organic poly, and its a hard to get item. Unless you kill snails. So in summary its not a Early Game tame, its a Early Game encounter.
Pasta salad is the most versatile dish
With a Beelzebufo (Toad)makes the job more easier..
Just tame one of this and go near to swamp or in(if you dare😬)and go for the hunt of flying bugs and you will get cementing paste... alot ...but be aware the more you hunt this, the more you had to go deep to the swamp..Good luck guys 🙂👍
They do not fight back even if you hit them
On ark mobile you don't need to feed them Cakes very often well they do eat cakes only but like i said the one that i had request a cake in about like 50 in game days and he was on half food meter
So yeah ups for more
And they don't attack so don't try to kill a dodo with it
If you are wanting to kill one you’ll have to be patient because it will go into its shell. But there is one solution. You have to wait for mabye ten seconds and it will come out.
