ARK: Survival Evolved & Ascended Companion
Tips & Strategies
What are some Ascended & Evolved tips? Tips and strategies for ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
If you are on Ragnarok and can't find a cat, go to the swamp castle. They are always there at the bottom.
Watch for the poison wyverns flying over the castle.
Tell StudioWildcard to Drakelings to ark evolve and Ark mobile
I dare you to raise one!! They are savage if you got two high lvl parents (about lvl 140ish) and you get imprinting on it. The thing will become an adult with about 230% melee and basically one chomp any bronto!!! But on the down side you loose your job and your girlfriend
They are a great starter water tame to tame bigger tames. They are great to explore the oceans depths. I had a great time having one just make sure you put points in the health. I tamed one and I went on a adventure In the ocean and found lots of cool stuff and even made a base.
I hope all three heads are still viable if you play single player.
Best way to tame:
(HIGHLY PREFERRED)
3 stone dino gates, place each in front of the other with about 1 human width between eachother. Place a door on one of the outer gateways, lure argy in and close door behind you. Run back around and place the 2nd on the open end, you have trapped it. Have around 200 tranq arrows to be safe, it can't escape through side or roof holes. But shoot it through either, knock out. Use small amounts of narcotics, preferably use prime meat to tame. And if you don't have a saddle already, use crypo pod and RUN they're found near other argies or other carnivores. Easier to do with 2 people. You're welcome
If you're on the killing spree part of the tame, stay away from deep water at ALL costs!!! I just lost a perfect 150 Carcha in the snow biome (The Island) at around 70% taming because a yuty's attack knocked the carcha off a cliff and into the ocean (messed up physics, I know) and no matter how hard I tried to salvage it it still ended up drowning. Additionally, for all on ARK UME single-player, one yuty baby is enough for 100% trust (which is what I used). However, I noticed that sometimes the carcha will eat the corpse and not gain any trust, but going out of render distance before feeding it the second yuty seemed to work. Good luck everyone!!!
Flame, Vline, and splash
DO NOT USE KIBBLE. Carrots give the same effectiveness and percentage, and allow more frequent feedings. Kibble feedings take longer for it to get hungry again
Tried taming a Acro… on PVE boosted with a level 470 trike. Killed Acro after I fed him around 8 times. I hate this game
Use EXCEPTIONAL KIBBLE somebody here said use superior you will not get best lvls this is for ASA
If you’re trying to find it in Ragnarok (Mobile) they don’t exist there. Press the uppy so all the mobile player can see.
People usually try to put the milk in a fridge for to make it last longer. It doesn’t let you. But I found out that you can put it in a preserving bin. Press that one good button so more people can see.
These are stronger than the rex, and tame one of these beasts instead of some old rex. 1. they get an underwater buff when up to mid body in the water and farther. 2. on two legs their attacks are faster and stronger then a rexes but they walk slower, and on four legs they are faster, but not as strong. If a tamed one is following you, they will do this automatically, when riding you must do it on your own. 3. They're easier to tame then a rex! So if you're debating on taming one of these bad boys, or the infamous rex, choose this dude. These beasts need more recongition.
After the TLC update it became a simple knockout tame. It hardly takes any tranqs and can be fed with spoiled meat or superior kibble like before
