When I was on like level 20 in single player i used to find these guys everywhere, and i thought they were only useful for a handful of chitin. Now I’m on level 88 and i actually NEED black and silicia pearls and oil I haven’t seen one in months.

You can find these at herbivore Island around the edges in the water!

They spawn near herb island if you wanted to know

Kill on site they give chitin oil and pearls when you need them they disappear

Use a hatchet or megatherium to harvest for max silica pearls and oil. Gives about a stack of chitin with a primitive metal hatchet and loads with the mega.

They always spawn in packs of 5 so make sure to leave no trilobite unfound

I’ve been playing mobile ASE and these lil guys are pretty prominent in South Zone 1! I can’t speak for console/pc or ASA but I do know they’re around that small bay where u first spawn at south zone 1. Hope this helps!
