How in fast egg hatching and not egg hatching

To hatch a fertilized egg, first you have to keep it in front of a campfire and then it will hatch automatically

When I took the pterodactyl egg, it was stated flying towards me attacking me, me bravely attacking it with my pet dilophosautus. Lol!

If the lvl 11-12 guy sees this, you can only hatch eggs when they are fertilized, meaning you have to breed 2 pteranodons together but you can only do it when they are both tamed. Wild eggs are only mainly used for kibble and to eat raw.

If anyone knows how to hatch a pteradon egg ( which you found in the wild ) please tell me. ( I'm only level 11-12 .)
