These are not in mobile don’t waste time trying to find them.
I’ve been hearing misleading tips about Ovis on Mobile, so here’s one to clarify:
Ovis CAN be found on Ark: Ultimate Mobile Edition (the one with Keys and maps like Scorched Earth and Aberration), in the same locations you’d find them on PC.
Ovis CANNOT be found on Ark: Mobile Edition (the one with Ancient Amber and Creature Implants). Hope this helps!

The ovis is a sheep-like creature that many survivors find useful in farming. It can be found in the grasslands. While rare, it can be tamed simply by feeding it one Sweet Vegetable Cake. This sheep can be sheered with Scissors to obtain Wool, or killed to obtain Mutton. While the ovis can be mounted, it is not an ideal mount for transport and provides very little use once mounted, other than its ability to climb up steep inclines.
What does a Ovis eat? In ARK: Survival Evolved, the Ovis eats Sweet Vegetable Cake.
