High chance of getting one from that euk......water scorpion thingy . I got one on the first try . But be careful that they can make you unconscious like literally instantly.( I found the hard way)

for taming an arthropluera this is the item you need to craft since it likes only take 1 at any level (if your on mobile it takes 1 for 300 and 450 for hard and brutal difficulty players)

This can also be used to tame arthros easily

I would advise you give this to your underwater creatures. This way you would level them faster and they would be better in the caves where you can't get them explorer notes.

It only takes one to tame an arthropluera it is you are then able to do the most difficult cave
