Easy and cheap trap( useful for most tames)

4 foundation (can be wooden or stone wtv suits u)

20stone walls

4 wooden ramp

Lay the foundation in a square shape.

Put the stone walls on all sides of the foundation

Put the wooden ramp so that the yuty can fall into it

Note: incase u have a flying tame capable of carrying medium sized creature like carno etc.. ( i used my ice wyvern) u can pick the carnos that helps the yuty by carrying them and throwing them somewhere out of reach from yuty buff very easy if u ask me good luck taming it, also yuty takes alot of tranq darts and be careful with tranq arrows you might accidentally kill it.

SUPPLIES FOR THE TAME AND FOR YOURSELF:

-Tranq Darts or Shocking Tranq Darts

-x3 Extrodanairy Kibble

-x200 Bio or x450 Narcotics

-Yutyrannus Saddle or Yutyrannus TEK Saddle

-Ascendant Flak would be appreacieated since Wild Yutys have carno defenders

-A taming Trap (Stone Tier)

Ok lets get ready on our journey!

Step 1: Find Yuty (Yutys are found in The Island, Centre, Ragnorok, Lost Island, and Extinction I think Idk. But sadly there are no Yutys in Mobile sorry mobile users :( )

Step 2: Make sure to have a heavy mount that can carry the Yuty out of its Carno mates.

Step 3: Bring your Yuty to the trap (It needs to be stone tier like the Yutys bigger cousin Tyrannosaurus Rex, Rexes can break thatch and wood tier its same to Yutys and Spinos and Barys)

Step 4: Drop your Yuty to the trap and proceed to KO it.

Step 5: Now feed it the Extrodinary Kibble! And put Bio or Narcotics too!

Step 6: Just wait and keep feeding it bio so it dosent wake up and kill other opponents while Yuty is still asleep.

Now lets go to the Yutys Abilities and Dissabilities!

ABILITES:

TEK SADDLE FEATURE:

ABILITY 1- Yutys have a TEK Saddle so they can also shoot cool deadly plasma balls like TEK guns and other TEK Saddles!

ABILITY 2- Yutys have a Fear Roar to scare off small creatures to the size of a Wooly Rhino! (This is used in Boss battles to scare off the Minions!)

ABILITY 3- Yutys also have a Courage Roar too this is the complete opposits of the Yutys fear roar, it gives your Allied Creatures have a Damage Buff of 50%! (This is used in Boss Battles to deal intense damage on the Boss and the Minions!)

Now lets talk about the Yutys Dissabilities! Its only 1 but its pretty useless acctually

DISSABILITY 1- It has a ammo limit in its TEK saddle. Yeah ikr its pretty useless.....

I use wyverns to tame these, as wyverns are not affected by the scare roar thing. Just find a place it can’t climb to get you, then just tranq it. Once it runs get on your wyvern and chase it, then corner it and knock him out. Not the most safe way but it works.

The yutyrannus meaning “Feathered tyrant” is truly a force to be reckoned with. By itself it’s incredibly dangerous that’s obvious. Also the yutyrannus always spawns in with a escort of carnos that fight along side it.

So with all of that in mind, how the heck do you tame one!?

Well there is no easy way. The yutyrannus is very difficult to separate from its escort of carnos, you either have to manage to kill its escort of buffed carnos (buffed with courage), or with incredible luck, separate the yutyrannus from its carnos. (Additional warning: the carnos buffed by the yutyrannus usually target the creature the yuty targets.) thankfully Ark usually has a 3rd option. Grab your friendly neighborhood harpoon gun, and make some nets (not cast nets). And introduce the yutyrannus to your net launcher! Make sure it’s carno friends aren’t left out. When you net them, do whatever you want I usually kill them because they get up eventually. Once you net the yuty immediately knock it unconscious. Once they break free from the net there’s a cooldown preventing you from netting it again for a bit.

Once you knock it out it likes prime or extraordinary kibble. Make sure you have narcotics or biotoxin. Eventually you will have your yuty

Build trap around it's feet when using nets, the feet are the center point for determining if it is trapped ir not. Also works for theris. Already suffered quite a bit for not following this myself.

Use a rex to kill carnos and lead it into your trap since they are not affected by Yuty roar, then cryopod the rex and tame the Yuty.

Easy tame method:Make 2 by 2 trap stone with doorframe as walls and 4 ramps on one side then take a wyvern and run in front of yuty he/she will follow you then lead them to trap

I just use the large bear trap method

Depending on your level and Materials you have. large bear traps are pretty cheap to craft. Craft five or more depending on how comfortable you feel.

And use any method of tranquilizing you like.

Tip: when your timing something it never hurts to go a little bit above of what you need in materials.

1. Find the fluffy t Rex. When you find one make sure you’re pretty close but not too close for it to notice you.

2. Place down all the bear traps in a line.

3. Once all your Bear traps have opened. Try to get the attention of the fluffy t Rex. Just shoot it once or go up to it (if you’re brave enough). Once you have its attention run to the first beer trap in the row of bear traps you’ve place down.

4. Once it’s caught in the bear trap you wanna run to the last bear trap in the row. You Want to have the bear traps between you and the fluffy t Rex. And that way you can start shooting it. and as it breaks each bear trap and try’s to come toward you it steps on another Bear trap getting it’s self stuck.

And depending on what tranquilize method you use you probably won’t have to worry too much about it running away but they’re pretty slow. I use this method for almost every dinosaur I tame that can fit in a large bear trap.

These things are incredibly useful. When taming, however, they have one fatal flaw: They're morons. They will run around and attack EVERYTHING regardless of how damaged they are or how strong the opponent. They also fancy themselves to be great swimmers. Flying around the tundra you will see many swimming around until they meet their untimely doom. Please tame as many as you can to help save them from their own stupidity.

I learned that although it is hard to catch up to a running Yuti, the hardest part is having the patience to watch it eat… my level 45 is taking forever to tame.

Go to the snow mountains with a high lvl arg. Or w/e flyer, park your ass when you see a group kill or k/o carnos if a mammoth is near by helps to ko him as they will go after his downed body, while they think they eatin shoot em up with as many tranqs as needed, all the hustle to try and trap him nah…

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THINGS NOT ON MOBILE! YOU DIDN’T HAVE TO PAY FOR THE GAME! It all balances out in the end

If your on mobile just get four stone foundations and 16 stone doorways and 4 wooden ramps you can put most dinos in that trap like mammoth saber yuty wooly rhino polucurames hyeandon maybe a rex and that's it and place two stone foundations on each side of the trap and place the four wooden foundations on any side and there you go

On the Valguero map, they are pretty much all in the snow biome. If you are on a dino, dismount and go knock it out yourself because your dino will get scared.

Use a netgun, trust me It'll be much easier to tame.I actually foumd the 2 150 x yuti males today very close to each other tamed them both, and named the first one call of yuti World at roar

Way faster than a rex! Kite it into a good area or trap and watch out for any other carnivores that it can buff with that almighty roar. Unless you wanna be shredded meat of course!
