Stand on a bronto with platform saddle and a ton of health, ignore the carnos, shoot it, when it runs chase it on bary, thyla, raptor, or deino and shoot it from there, remember to keep them in cryopod while on bronto or they get fear roared and run off. Also beware there are direwolves everywhere you will hate them more than troodons

I just tamed a 135 by seperating the yuty from its carnos with an argentavis, yeh I got fear roared multiple times but after some time I placed 4 Dino frame gates with 2 doors on each end and had my friend run in and I close the door. Once trapped it was pretty straightforward tame just became cus things wil attack the yuty while it’s knocked out

If you have a long neck rifle with some darts D O N T go near it because it’s roar can make your dino lose control and run/fly around for 20 seconds (I learned from experience) make sure your far or have a fast flyer cause the yuty is fast

The fear rawr does not dismount you! But you'll have no control over your bird or tame goes.

If you're lucky, you can find one of these alone. I would recommend targeting one that is alone, unless it is too high of a level or too low. Therefore you don't have to worry about Carnotaurus trying to kill you. Kill off anything ot might try to pick a fight with, like mammoths (you can use the prime meat from them to tame it). It takes a good amount of arrows so best if you use tranq darts instead. Just be careful of its roaring because there could be Carnos nearby.

If you live very far away then get an argy with good stats (really good stats not too good but good) stats like at least 700 Stan 2000health at least that if u live very far away like me also maybe some weight if u are doing a trap

A lot of expensive taming tips here... Here is the easiest cheapest way:

1 stone foundation

3 double door frames and 1 ramp...that's all you need...no behemoth gates that cost an exorbitant price....

Place the foundation and one double door frame on a side. Place a ramp on that side. On the opposing side, place 2 stories high door frames. It would look like this (somewhat): |_i\

Run straight through the trap and go between the door frames...ta-da...

Also, you may wanna kill carnos first with an argi...and bring a lot of tranq amo...

Chicken Rex, 3×3 of stone foundations, 3 high doorways on each side and ramps on side leading in. Lure in with a drafon or whatever flyer that wont get scared and plop it in there. Boom! Shoot away!

Knock it out with a longneck rifle also it’s a meat eater and also if you have a argentavias get up on a rock so it can’t attack you then tranq with tranq darts

Easiest tame of my life! Just build a 2x6 stone platforms then two stone door ways on the sides! You should need 20 stone doors. Then build a ramp out of what ever I used wood. The use a good flier like a tapy (because of stamina it might roar and scare your bird so you want tons of stamina) then just attack it and lure it in the Carnos might go in but mine didn’t so 1 more tip be warned I used a ramshackle crossbow just saying bring more arrows than Dododex says to use😬 I tamed a level 200 with this technique.

if you have a Spinosaurus, you can lead it with water deep enough for it to start swimming. the Spinosaurus will get away, and the Carnotaurs won’t be able to keep up with the Yutyrannus. that’s how i tamed my Yutyrannus

Easy to trap, you only need 4 Stone Dino gateway with 2 reinforced gates, put them up in a line with just enough space so you can get out, put the first door down, get the yutys attention, get him to run in the trap, put the door down behind him and bam, he trapped.. use darts preferrebly or use arrows with seconds between hits..

With the new DLC, you can now net them. Make sure to bring a lot of nets since they only last a minute.

Is fluffy, makes easy eggs for kibble, is the best Buffer and pretty strong on its own aswell. You should get it!

To the very confused toad a X Dino is a kind of dino found on other maps, I am not certain, but I think they first got introduced on aberration and take less damage, but Deal more damage

In my opinion, I feel that the Yutyrannus is much more versatile than the Rex considering it can take on both a support and attacking role. You will want to have at least one friend to lure the thing into a taming cage. Take care to eliminate the carno with it before trapping it. Close it off and use the traditional knockout method. When you're done, you'll have an invaluable PVP dino.

To tame a yutyrannus easy solo load bird up with stone on a cliff then snipe off carnos to be safer then tranq out the yutyrannus with whatever u have

If you see one, look for Carno's. I was walking along, and I saw this, and then two Carnos helped kill me. I was a level 88! Just be wary they don't fight alone.
