Look for a high ground shoot the yuty, when it tries to get ya place 3 metal Gates around him(one at each Side and one behind him, in Front of him should be the stone or Cliff youre Standing on). Then kill the carnos with a rifle and knock the yuty Out. Then Feed him with meat and narcotics so he doesnt wake up. You will get His saddle at lvl 80. Hope it helps!

The Yuty does have one very exploitable weakness, as it fancies itself a good swimmer. It is not. Lead it into the water to get away or separate it from it's cronies.

The Yuty can scare Purlovias out of the ground which makes it one of the best creatures to bring into the Snow Cave on the Island. You will have to either hatch it in the cave or use cryopods but except for the small entrance it can access the whole cave.

These guys are usually difficult to tame just because they stupidly go ahead and attack everything in the area. They just love danger.

yutyrannus are really good for all your boss fights, yutys are special because they can buff your dinosaurs, along with a daedon healing your dinosaurs they are great. but everything will try to attack your yuty, in dragon fight when dimorphodons spawn hop off your yuty and hop on one of your other tames. if you can do this your good to go, BUT YOU NEED TO NOT BE USING THE FEAR ROAR BY ACCIDENT!!! for so long i was making so much harder by using the fear roar like a idiot and my equally dumb tribemate could not work the daedon. man good times.

My advice for taming a high level Yuti would be to first get some low level females and 1 male using just meat, (I used cooked prime meat, works ok and lasts a lot longer than if raw) put them with an Oviraptor and you'll get the eggs needed for the kibble to tame a higher level. Also remember, if you're confident enough, it's possible to the Yuti and Carnos at the same time, I got 2 Carnos with one of my Yutis 👍

When tamed you can temp tame carno's around you with c button

You can net them and place gates around it

You guys should defintely mutate these! So far I have yellow body and purple strikes and they look pretty good! And you’ll probably need a good one for a boss

It is good for all Bossfights and Titans because it can boost your dinos.

I made a trap then lured it in with a kangaroothis thing had like 20 direwolfs with it and it scared me so much I almost died

Super simple trap:

4-5 stone pillars

1 large bear trap

Building it:

Place a pillar and then place a bear trap right in front of you and then to the left and right of the bear trap place another Stone pillar. And for more ease put another Stone pillar behind one of them and then lore the yutty into the trap once the bear trap is activated place the final Stone pillar closing the gap.

Easiest way to tame this animal

1: make about 100 or 200 tranqs but if you use toxianc arrows make about 100 or 99

2: get Dino gates and other thing for the Dino gates and make about 5 of ‘em

3: find one in the snow somewhere

4: as you found the yutyrannus make the trap

5: trap it

6: shoot it with the tranqs or toxianic

7: as it’s sleeping wait for it to get hungry

8: when it’s hungry feed it meats

9: when tamed bring back home

10: and go on adventures if you’d like to.

Easily the best group dino! With their courage roar and your pack of dinos *I prefer high lv direwolves* you can take on about anything on the island if they all have good lvs.

I would put a tip but their is a really good one on here.

step 1: tame a super cool creature

sterp 2: bring it to the cold zone

step 3: leave your dino in a spot to get some wood

step 4: come back

step 5: where the hell has my dino gone

step 6: yuty chases you till you run out of stamina

You can scare off dinos around with a couple of roars except the rex!

You can net yutys and this is usefull because u can build stuff around it when its netted
