YOU DIED
nearly everyone will understand this
You can net yutys and this is usefull because u can build stuff around it when its netted
Doing yuty mutations! Will start hatching when I get three refrigerators full of the eggs! I will post colors after all eggs are hatched.
These guys can be netted with a net gun. Tranq darts are affective but i knocked out a lvl 135 with about 15 shocking tranq darts. Great for boss fights cause of its courage roar ability. Pair with an army of rexes and you’ll be a force to be reckoned with.
It’s annoying how they hang around with Caron’s but you could get a friend to lure them away from it giving you enough time to knock it out
While taming, yutys do not drown if they are knocked out in the water! <3
X Yutyrannus at lvl 135 took 162 tranq darts give or take a few for missing. Also took a whole long neck rifle
A good and easy trap for these is 3 stone behemoth gateways. You put up two in a V with a gap at the pinch for you to shoot/run through and then the third gateway at the other end. Put the doors on the V and when it follows you in pop in the last door and walk out through the gap. Make sure to kill the carnos before knocking out the yuty, they will eat it when knocked out. Now with the carnos dead go ahead and knockout the yuty and give it some kibble. No narcotics required. Have fun with your new Yutyrannus!!
Idk why everyone says 9 stone foundation for a 3×3, you don't need the middle one because it can't bury so it's not gonna make your trap any less effective and it saves you a foundation. If they say stone wall, what they mean is stone doorframe; it's cheaper and you can shoot through it and the yuty can't fit through any easier than walls. You can also skip like every other unit on the perimeter from having any walls since the yuty is chonk and nothing will really attack it through these gaps since it's an Apex predator. Personally I prefer using stone fence foundation in the perimeter of a three by three and one regular foundation for the stairs which aren't attached but close enough. Saves a lot of resources which is useful for making these in bulk.
Looked so hard and I thought I found one becuse I saw Cano’s and a big guy but turns out when I used my spyglass it was only a pack of allows
Here’s a tip for early to mid gamers on Crystal Isles! If there is a Yuti, get a flyer, prolly a wyvern and lead it off a cliff, you can also kill off the Carno’s with its breath! Then use a Thyla and shoot it from whatever angle you can manage!
I was working on building my end-game base, when a 140 started stalking a little too close to my base. I funguses since my base was pretty big I could just shoot it from inside my base and it would be fine. I shot her until she started running, and for the next few hours I kept doing that until I got her into a ravine and she was knocked out in no time! I still have her, my first ever Yuti!
Happy Taming!
Best things to tame, so useful for boss battles and just general play but sometimes uncommon and very hard to tame because of the carnos that hang around it
This can screw up an Arctic exploration, especially if flying because the fear makes your bird go in RANDOM DIRECTIONS, while using stamina. If this is your first Yuty find, remember that the roar radius is bigger than you think.
When trying to tame them don’t use a wyvern, people say it doesn’t get feared from the yutys fear roar. It does.
Can a tamed Yutyrannus attack, or does it just roar?
