Get a stack of thirty feathers, the it will try to lunge at you, in the middle of the lunge, flash bang it with a plant species Z seed, then give it biotoxin or narcotic and it's just a standard KO tame from here (it is presumably an omnivore, but it definitely eats meat).

What it shows in the breeding for this Dino is false cause I play officials 1x rates and it’s 2x rn cause of the summer bash event and it hatches for like 30 mins and turn juvi in 2 hrs

First have high durability armor, plant species z fruit, and bio toxin and go to the green zone, find one and let it shoot 30 or 40 feathers. Once it tries to dive bomb you time the plant species z fruit and when it gets stunned run to it and feed it the bio toxin. ( put the bio toxin in the last box which is 9 or > for ps5 or it’s < and have the fruit in 1 or < spot for ps5 ) rinse and repeat until you have it knocked out.

You have to let it hit you with feathers then when it dives to attack you, you have to stun it the feed narcotics from last slot bio toxin is best and repeat until it’s knocked out then you can feed to tame

Taming:

You need biotoxin and plant species z fruit. Don’t try and tame it without the trap. Make six triangle stone foundations and place them in a hexagon shape. Make 18 stone walls. Switch them to the tall doorframe (single door with no top) and stack them up on the perimeter of the foundations three tall (any shorter than three and the yi ling can get inside. Stand outside the trap and let it spray you with feathers. Once you have 30, get in the trap, ready your fruit, and watch it. Its trail in the air should be red, meaning it’ll do its rupture. Once it does it will dive at you really fast, but if you’re in the trap it should get stuck in the doorframe for a second, giving you enough time to throw the fruit and stun it. Once stunned get close and feed it biotoxin. Rinse and repeat until tamed. If you threw the fruit and it isn’t stopped in place, chances are you still stunned it, it just didn’t properly stun, so chase after if while it’s on the ground and feed it, it usually works. Don’t get hit by the rupture, so stay on the opposite side of the trap’s interior that the yi ling is by, as the rupture can still hit you if you’re inside, and it will remove all your feathers and deal a lot of damage, meaning you have to get feathered again. You can use other narcotics besides biotoxin, but it works best.

Once tamed, you have on upward dash, but while flying can dash sideways or down infinitely. Sprinting while flying makes it faster but you constantly lose altitude, but regular speed makes it slower but you don’t lose altitude so long as you don’t look down. You can rupture a target if you shoot at least one feather in it, and after a successful rupture, you get another upward dash to use in the air.

I’m under the impression that it’s gonna be rideable and be able to cling to walls, either like a deinon or maybe even climb them like a rock drake or megalania.

I found one of these in the green zone so idk what y'all are talking about

When you go to flash bang it go in first person, it makes it so much easier to hit.

You have to let it hit you with its feathers then once it dive bombs you have to hit it with the plant species seed(flashbang) to stun it after it will stand still and you can feed it narcotic/biotoxin repeat till it falls asleep

Gotta let it shoot you a bunch (30 ish) then when it goes to charge you throw a plant z to stun it and have bio toxin in your last slot and hand feed while stun.. rinse and repeat

If you are starting out and keep getting griefed by them. I suggest you made a wooden shield early game and .maybe a few spares

It says it’s Leval 1 but it took 5 biotoxen, compared to 1 for a leval four.

To tame it , you need some type of narcotics ( biotoxin , narcotic , narcoberry , etc) and alot of plant Y flashbangs. When it notices you it will start flying around you while simultaneously throwing feathers at you .

A little counter for those feathers will appear were normal buffs show up . When it’s high enough , the Yi ling will dash at you , and you need to throw a flashbang when he does so .

He will be stunt for a short amount of time , and during that , you can feed him narcotics for it to gain torpor. Continues doing that to knock it out.

After getting pelted with feathers, once it is lunging towards you throw a plant species z at it. Then you will be able to feed it narcotics, the narcotic has to be in the last slot.

Coordinates: 38 Lat, 38 Long

Bring: biotoxin/narcos, plant z fruit, 4 stone foundations, 16 doorways

Actions: Kills all Dinos in area, park mount in safe location, build trap (don’t let yi ling see you), let it hit you with 30 feathers then run to middle of trap. When it dive bombs at you it’ll get stuck (this is when you throw the fruit at its head), run up to it and feed it the biotoxin/narcos, it’ll run away a sec so step outside the trap and at this point only let it hit you to keep the 30+ feathers timer up. Repeat until it ko’s then feed mutton. I hope this explains it well.

Don’t die in the process so you can actually tame it

Tank the feathers when it dive bombs you hit it with a y seed and feed it bio toxin after you ko feed extraordinary kibble good luck

When making your 2x2 cuck box for reccomend putting a roof over it just so you dont run the risk of one of these Yi Lings threading the needle whilst doing their dive bomb/rupture attack
