Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a wyvern? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a wyvern.
With all this transferring, does anyone know what movement speed we would need on pteradon?
Charizard
The fire
They are great for getting Thatch and Cactus Sap
Get a high lvl trex build your trap place trex in back of trap and let it take damage while u close door.... solo...milking
If you want to knock out a lightning wyvern and have a decently leveled terror bird with a saddle, simply shoot the wyvern from the back of your terror bird(since terror birds appear to be immune to lightning damage). The only other thing you would have to do is dodge its bite attacks.
Me and my tribe made a pretty good strategy. Get two high level argies, and put one's points all into speed (and make sure it's over 200%) and put the other's to 200% and the rest on health. Starting at the northnmost or southernmost point, send in the fast argie to locate an egg. Then fly out and land on a nearby mountain. Tell your tribemate(s) where the egg is and send in the high health argie, and possibly others to lead away most of the nearby wyverns into the desert or preferably the mountains, where they get stuck and loose you easily. The fly in on the fast argie, hop off, grab the egg, get back on and run like there's no tomorrow into the mountains. Have your tribemates come in to kill of help loose the wyverns. A few other tips: Bring a jerboa. It there's a sandstorm or heat wave while you're getting chased by hundreds of wyverns, good luck! Also, only bring things that you're willing to loose. Make sure to have a nearby base with beds for when you die, because you WILL die!
When your trying to get milk it is Easier with a team, but for those without that option try this. (Without risking bird) Build the trap as normal within spyglass range of trench. Make sure u have hole in back of cage (preferably the size of and argie). Then make a 1 ceiling sized tower just on corner of dragon entry side cage. Ramp it down the side of cage(NO LADDER). Place a keypad in a tiny adobe but behind cage just out of reach of dragon attack with the behemoths pincode in mind(must power keypad). Now that that's done 1 person with no speed body cand use a long neck rifle to Argo dragon into cage and close it in with 0 risk to a bird. I've done it with no movement speed increase. (Everything must be stone or metal on cage)
To tame it you have to steal a wyvern egg and you have to raise it from baby to adult. worst part is it WON'T eat anything other than wyvern milk which is found by knocking a female wyvern out, having a adult female wyvern, or killing a alpha male(female or male) which is most effective. Having a adult female wyvern is second most effective cause it keeps coming back every once in a while. Knocking one out(wild female wyvern) is least effective cause after doing that you have to let it go and get a new one or kill it and get a new one cause it only works once for a female wyvern that is wild
I grabbed two lighting eggs I used an Argy with speed of 180 and stamina of 1400 easy if you're getting chased bring it to a wild Dino it will stop chasing you.
Make sure you have lots of milk for the babies
Make sure your own evertime it wants car so u can get milk or get it before hand to be safe.
Wyverns cannot be tamed when wild and must be raise at a 4 day period while in that time you need milk every few hours and the milk spoils within 1 hour and 30 minutes milk is only acquired by killing or knocking out a wild female wyvern or an alpha of any gender. Please note that getting eggs involves angering a large amount of wyverns... minimum argy speed is 185.2 although it's been proven that a 182.4 can out run them.
If you are going to raise one wyvern might as well do a couple. We did six out first run simply because of it takes almost 4 days might as well be as efficient as possible. Preserving salts all around. Max spoil time was 2:52.14. 5 milks might as well have 5-6 babies if you are investing that time
Always keep an eye on your birds stamina when stealing an egg
Argy movement speed-185+.
Pillar cage trap w/ pin pad.
Preserving salt on argy and player while delivering the milk.
My tribe alternated shifts and stayed and watched a femal dragon in cage so it would despawn and would milk it every hour and feed as needed
get a tribe mate to help you imprint by giving him your account to help you and take turns during the 4 days for to be less tired. And also to get milk make a trap with pilars where your argy can pass but not the female wyvern
When raising a Wyvern make sure it's food does not plummet to low. Lower level babies may not have 1200 food so you may need to force feed the milk rather then having it feed itself. Imprinting with milk also counts as a feeding, so don't feed him milk before an imprint!
For sure only try to hatch the high level wyverns instead of the low levels. Low levels require more milk to tame. Also another good tip is that Wyverns cant hurt each other if they are the same element and that goes for both wild and tamed
Your wyvern can land in the egg nest spots! If you use your wyvern to get eggs then you are immune to one type of elemental "blast" and you have enough speed to get away. It's the perfect solution!
You can yous a snow owl to get the egg the glied away ez pz 👍
