Fast and smart and you should be fine

Put a lot of levels on your PT stamina so when you get the egg you’ll get out fast

YALL PLEASE READ THIS

I was on lost island and I found two of the BEST early game tames to get wyvern eggs with, got 8 eggs on day 13 with no base, and 2 tames, first up I use a maewing in the reg trench, works great for a quick escape and the shape of the trench allows for easy gliding, second I used my baboon in the ice trench, wyverns don’t really want to attack baboons just like how wyverns don’t really attack manas, at least I’ve wyverns, wether tamed or not. But I straight up just decimated the wyverns and stole the eggs, baboons provide insulation so they’re great for cold and hot areas. Pump only stam on maewing and only melee and health on baboon, I haven’t tried using a baboon in the ref trench but I’ll try it out, usually baboons can out jump the wyverns’ flight speed so they might be good for most trenches, along with the fact they can do 1k damage per hit once leveled and can climb

Wyverns are very simple nowadays... find the highest level egg possible and raise using cryopods. If the baby wants milk for imprint just cryo and throw out.

When stealing eggs on a Petra or tapejara remember wyvern's cannot turn very fast

Use a Griffin to steal eggs. Grab egg, fly to world limit(very top), and dice straight down. Light work

Get a bunch of pteranodons you don’t care about to out run the wyverns

When stealing wyvern eggs make sure to set up a turret- take an egg and agro a few before flying back to the turret, make sure you have enough bullets and the turrets set up near the trench.

I've never done it before, although I'd imagine the easiest way to steal wyvern eggs is to KO a female gather there milk and steal the egg so now you have the egg and some milk.

Griffin is the best to use to get the eggs. Fly through, get like half fo the wyverns angered on you,fly straight up(look down and move the joystick or whatever the key is on pc)divebomb down and they will get will give up and fly away from the raven, fly back in, get some eggs. Boom. (Also griffin is pretty easy to get cuz if you spawn near the viking bay, they are up the mountains east.)

It requires more arrows than dododex tells you even without wild mate bonuses

This is for high Level

To get Wyvern eggs (on Valguero) just tame a Quetz and built some auto turrets on it. Then y choose a Flyer y want to use (I used a Lymantria) and put it into passive mode then Flyer to the Snow Area and watch the Wyverns falling of the sky. Then look for an Egg and when its safe take your chosen flyer and take it.

Don‘t land the quetz. After that Flyer back to the quetz (it should be in front of the Egg and land on it. Go home and welcome your baby.

I got multiple eggs with this method and Wisch y‘all good luck

Put glowsticks on an ice. only works in snow

Some people make getting wyvren eggs too complicated. Here's my method, it works well enough for me:)

I take a few pteranodons, make sure I have the level flyer speed thing on, buffer that speed to like 205% at least and stamina at around 700. It's good to have health pretty high too.

Once you have your speedy ptera get yourself a spyglass (you don't really need one, it just helps) and go search for a nest. Dont choose one that has a ton of wyverens with it of course.

Fly your ptera down, hop off, grab egg, hop on ,fly as far away as possible making sure to weave through the trees if the wyveren is on your tail.

if you want to take a fire wyvern egg on fjördur the safetiest way, you can force wyverns to follow you one by one or many at the time with a quite fast flying mount or a tanky one and to take aggro on nearby magmasaurs. after that, you can take the egg with no other wyvern nearby and just go away with no or very few wyvern chasing you !

i did that technique with a 6k health snow owl and took very little damages. plus, i could regen this guy between each round trip with his ice protection technique.

Scorched Earth was released for the Nintendo Switch, and I am one of the people who owns it. It’s really fun, but there is one major problem that has occurred for me. Wyvern nests aren’t spawning! I have searched the whole lava crevice thing 3 times and found NONE. It could be a glitch on the Switch version, it could be a problem with my single player, or it could just not be added yet. Whatever it is, it is really disappointing and if you know how to fix it pls tell me.

Should I… just tame a crystal wyvern?

Wyvern Egg levels will be 8 increments above your max level. If your max level is 150 then each increment goes up by 5. The max level for wyverns therefore will be 190 as 8 increments of 5 levels added onto 150 is 190. If max level is 180, the increments go in 6 so wyvern egg max is 228.

Take two Rex’s into the the trench’s or caves with you and when your in the trench go get a egg then when u have the dragon chasing you go towards ur Rex’s and the dragon with automatically agro onto the Rex’s make sure your Rex’s have high health, one of mine had 9,000 the other had 5,000 and both survived just a tip
