If you get an egg that is too low a level for you, eat it instead of dropping it. If you just drop it, it will take ages to despawn.

Wyverns: survival evolved

Hi hello howdy!

Personally the wyverns are one of my favorite tames because they are so beautiful and powerful. And easy to tame! Or steal.

Prepare: get a fast dinosaur like a pteranodon or other flying tame. If you are stealing more wyverns after a raid get a lightning wyvern to do so. Then find a wyvern trench.

Step 1: go to trench (ice or normal) and look in slots on the sides (for the SW one in rangnarok they can spawn anywhere) then if there is a egg of any kind land and grab it

Step 2: the wyverns will aggravate on you. Now this might just be my Xbox but if you get far enough that they arent on your screen anymore they wont be agrro anymore.

Step 3: now an incubator is actually easy to make! Get four or more (as long as it is in a square shape) stone foundations and 4-6 fire places (whatever the foundation can hold) and get x25-100 wood equally for all of them, then light them and pop the eggs in the middle! Or egg.

Food: meat

Level up tips: i reccomend lvl up their speed, melee damage, and stamina, just once or twice for health though.

Fun fact: wyverns comes from a anglyosaxin word wyveirn meaning serpent or worm and represents war, envy, and pestilence

If you wanna get an egg on Lost Island, use a Maewing. Its much fester then wyverns when you know how to use it. Just harder to get to the nests

Heres a big hint, if you already have cryo-pods i suggest you catch yourself an oviraptor. I went into the beach cavern, near the green Obelisk on Ragnarok and took that guy with me.

1. Look for wyvern nearby

2. If there are none or they are busy hovering against a wall ( like mine) get the ovi out.

3. Put the ovi on follow inside the nest he will dig it up for you

4. Pick it up from his hands and no one will notice!

I snatched myself 4 eggs like that and didnt pull any aggro but they where all kinda low level since i only managed to be in the first room :/ highest was 95 i got fire and 85 lightning. Better luck to yous

Don’t be scared, a pack of 4-10 rexs with 15,000 health and 500% melee will tear these things apart.

If you’re getting a wyvern from someone, ask for an egg, otherwise you can’t imprint. Learned this the hard way. F

I’m not sure why, but higher levels mature faster then lower levels? Is this correct, or is there an exception to some other rule?

How I got an egg with just my flying mount. The Argentavis. Empty slots. Lured other near by Dino's into the pit on the other side with a fastish Dino I can drop down and set to highest follow. The Wyverns got distracted I had time to get a fire egg. Before I knew it I was out safe, no others following me, no great loss of any important tames and no battle. Just distraction and quickness.

If you dont have wyvern milk and dont feel like going through all the hassle, and you have access to a snow owl, you can simply hatch the wyvern egg, and keep on using the snow owl heal to freeze the food decrease of the Wyvern until he can eat meat

If your server uses the S+ mod. Reach the level of the nanny and of the hatchery. Technically if the server’s owner is smart you have classic flyers. So a ptera with 400 stam and 130 mvt speed clearly work if you roll in the air (don’t forget to watch at your stam). Then with basic parameters, only one re-fertilizer do the job for as many eggs as you want (count approximately 1/day) so you have a wyvern egg with 1% left. Drop the egg, 14 torchs do the job as well, hatch your little one. Get a nanny. Go find 10 honey then give them to her. Honey will spoil in days in her inventory so don’t worry. Give her about 5 stack of meat (don’t forget to put back meat in your feeding through) after some time you’ll have wyvern depending of the multiplayers of your server. Enjoy

Don’t feel like knocking a wyvern out for its milk? Just kill the alpha and get 50 milk easy then store in Dino with preserving salt or sparkpowder in preserving bin

Ok everyone if you don't have mods for classic flyers don't try to steal a wyvern egg by yourself you'll get ducked just use a pteranodon that u don't want, fly up with the egg have your friend wait faaaar up and have him swoop down get your inventory when the wyverns chasing you die (assuming you die)

Personally on fjordur to steal a poison wyvern egg I just brought a megalania and just sprinted through the cave snatching all the eggs I saw and somehow I escaped unharmed.

Army of PTs if wyvern attacks send them and you book it

I recommend making a small PVP style mini base by the trench with turrets on it. This why you can lead wyverns out of the trench then retrieve the eggs with a low chance of death, and if you have a bed it gives you a close place to respawn if you do die.

Everything i know about stealing these guys egg with desmodus

1.they won't aggro on you when using invinsible at night as long you dont jump out from desmo you will be fine even if you bump into one of the wyvern use this advantage to check the egg lvl you can check it using first person pov

2. Desmo use a lot of energy while invinsible go rest on some nest turn off your invincible [make sure its safe]

3. Just found your desired egg? Im sure there will be 4 or five wyvern behind you, just steal it and leave at full speed search for bronto i dont know why just fly under bronto legs to make these guys aggro on the bronto dont think youre safe yett cus my dumb brain just decide to chill while they killed the bronto and then just chase me right back lol it will be better if you have maewing cryoed to switch ride and run as far as possible
