When dropping the egg to incubate, do NOT press right trigger. You will eat the egg. Honestly just take your right hand off the controller.

After you have tamed one you can use it to kite same type wyvern's (ex fire and fire) to your trap and tank hits as you close the gate. It wont take damage from the same type of wyvern and the wild one will stay aggroed far easier than if you used an argy

Never try to fight a Wyvern with a pt or argy it's just death just take the eggs and you might have a chance

The easiest way to get a egg is to just get any type of low level flier and just take the egg and fly out of the trench before the Wyvern kills you and jump of your mount and let it kill you after your out then just get the egg off your dead body.

On Fjordur what you can do is using a Griffin, fly through the trench and agro them to one side. Then de render them and come back to the other side for free eggs, got 2 without being bothered doing this

Ice wyverns on lost island are too easy. Literally stole its egg with with a lvl 27 argy…

to tame easier build a small house made of something they can’t break

in the den then put a crate with ghillie armour inside and a bed to respawn, next wearing different (you’ll need the other one for later) ghillie armour go into the den take an egg, enter the box before you get killed place the egg in the crate leave and before you die get far away, maybe have a roll rat to dig a tunnel to escape the wyverns will follow you and leave the crate then hop out and die (yes really) use the bed respawn pick up the egg the wyverns won’t be grumpy hopefully 🙏 you can then hop in the ghillie leave and raise the wyvern. like so more people can see.

On Ragnarok, use a Pteranodon leveled in health and stamina. Also bring an Oviraptor, which you can tame with enough dodo or dilo eggs. Carry the Oviraptor to a Wyvern den. When your Oviraptor steals the egg, then you take the egg and carry the Oviraptor back. Make a trap, then scout the valley once again and lure a female wyvern into a trap with your Ptera.

Ik some of y’all might consider this cheating because it requires going out of the storyline’s chronological order, but USE A MANAGARMR TO GET THE EGGS! The quickest escape you’ll ever make, I promise you! You’ll get away too fast for them to stay aggro for long, so you can just dip back in & scoop as many eggs as your heart desires (or carry weight can handle)!

Your best bet to get an egg in the beginning is to use a Pteranadon. You have to constantly keep a look out for wyverns. Don't go for a fire wyvern you WILL die. Lure any adult ice wyverns near you to creatures far away from the nests. Go in, grab the egg, and immediately go back to your base.

Hatch the egg and go on a killing spree to level it. Only level melee.

If you want a fire wyvern go back with your ice wyvern. You'll have to go to a lava cave beneath the ice wyvern nests. Get in, get an egg, and get out. You can go back for a higher level later. Use the nest cubbies to kill wyverns (they try to circle around you but get stuck, making them easy to kill. This also works for the ice wyverns)

If you want a wyvern use a Desmond they are op especially at night

Wyvern Taming 101

1. You want a wyvern, right? I suggest you get a rather low level pteranodon, minimum lvl 20. Get it to abt 600 stamina and your ready.

2. Find a less crowded wyvern ravine. Recommend finding a good lvl egg before you go in.

3. You’ve found the egg you want, make sure your pteranodon is at full stamin and swoop in.

4. Yoink the egg and fly away- don’t look back

5. You’ve got an eggo. Now, you can either get wyvern milk, snow owl, or cryo it. I made a trap at the side of the trench and used my ptera to lure wyverns in, knock ‘em out and you got milk.

Egg incubators are so much easier and way more versatile than anything else. hope this helps!

Listen knockout female wyvern sip on its milk just take it is what I’m saying take it back home put it in a preserving bin or fridge make sure you have air conditioners go out and get a wyvern egg put it near the air conditioners Leave it hatch when it hatches slap the meat in there eventually you’ll want to give it milk when it wants it

Just grapple a female then go ham with tranqs, make sure to bring a parachute thou

If possible, bring wyvern milk to drink to protect from fire and a gas mask for poison. Use an argent or fast pterodactyl to steal a good egg(preferably fire because the milk will protect you. Then have the fire female chase you, then knock it and put it in a milking pen out of adobe or stone

If you play on Ragnarok, then if you use a Griffin you can shoot it from there. Try to get ice wyverns instead of the other types because with ice they spawn one At a time, not 10.
