I was really impatient and really wanted to get an egg on ragnorok. So I tamed a pterodactyl on the beach it was really low level so I leveled his speed up 4 times and called it good. It was not enough the wyverns are fast and not nice. I died and reset the game to get my stuff and pterodactyl back. I turned Dino damage to 0 because I just wanted the egg and didn’t want to wait the wyverns started attacking and their bites did nothing but their breath still killed me so be patient and have a fast mount.

If you guys on Mobile want one, get PC. The devs will NEVER add any extra creatures to mobile.

The only thing that can outfly it is a pter.

Since the flyer nerf I just tame dodo use the dodo kibble tame a moderate level pterodactyl

And go to the the scar grab the egg

When escaping any type of wyvren fly away and then turn towards the wyvren and fly like your life depends on it (It does) until you get to a place with many trees and hide.

Rinse and repeat until you are confident you have escaped

Gist get a thila with 250 speed and trank it on the thila.Get a good longnek I have 250 damage ant a 150 take 5 shots

If on single server, put water drain at zero for character.multi serv,carry tons of canteens!

Try and not let it eat you orequire your perfect tame argy.

All you've got to do is dodge its super easy because of there there turning radius make sure to make sharp turns and try to get it stuck somewhere in the rocks ! Good luck!

All I’ve been told is that when there’s two wyverns of the opposite gender and same type, an egg spawns. Haven’t tested yet and up is true, down is no.

Do Not use an arge when looking for fire wyverns becouse they shred through its health so get a Dino with some speed Wight and health

So I found a level 300 wyven egg and put on in the ARK data part of the terminal... when I took it out and hatched it, it hatched a level 1.

SO DONT PUT WYVERN EGGS IN THE OBLISK TERMINALS

Does anyone know how fast a pteranodon needs to be in order to match a 200 speed argy? I wanna try to get the egg with a pteranodon.

If your trying to escape a Wyvern I suggest a 200% movement speed argy and if your escaping an alpha Wyvern 230% ish.

They do attack. Even when wild they tend to roam around killing stuff. They will kill all your tames just run they won't attack your base unless provoked.
