These guys are so useful but also take so much to get. If you want one you’ll probably want to get the egg(s) ahead of time, and then set apart a day or two dedicated to looking after them while they hatch and grow. Always have milk on hand (gotten by knocking out female wyverns of any type), it can’t be put in a fridge however, so make sure you have a working preserving bin or three to keep it (and unless you’re hatching 3-4 wyverns, some of it will spoil even in the preserving bin, so make sure your supply isn’t gone by the time you want to use it). Usually on servers a wyvern trap will be built near their spawn and it can be quite easy to lead them in with a fast flier (I recommend a pteranodon) and knocked down with tranqs. The milk can be found in their inventory (usually regular female wyverns will have 5, however if you manage to kill an alpha of any gender you can get 50) and used whenever the baby/juvenile/adolescent wyvern gets hungry.

People say you need a daeodon if you want to raise a wyvern without milk. If you are on singe player or your own sever just up the maturation rate i always do thia for wyverns. Up if you do this

Raising one of these can be simple or very difficult depending on what your looking for. Normally players do 1 of the 4 ways you can tame large wyverns

1) Hatch em and feed it wyverns milk, not very effective if your looking for PvP stats, and can be very expensive if your trying to tame multiple wyverns

2) Simply trading with other players, very effective for PvP stats since you can choose what states you want but finding the right seller can be tricky, again tgis can be really expensive as some players... May ask for your pinpal account no joke

3) Only works if you have access to a large wyvern and a cloning station. You can simply clone an exact duplicate of any wyvern or tame in your possession. Not the fastest way to accumulate wyverns and it's by far the most expensive, but if the stats are nice well this might be what your looking for.

4) Snow owl exploit. Experts only, "breeding"... This is by far the best method to doubling your large wyverns and it's also the fastest and cheapest way possible. Let's say you have breed wyverns and hatched them. Now your stuck with 3 new born lightning wyverns and have no access to wyverns milk and they are going to starve to death, what do you do? Well it just so happens they can't die if there health never reaches zero. Well you simply need to heal them occasionally with a snow owl.

If u are being chased by a fire or lightning Wyvern you can escape it by flying straight up they don’t fire if u fly up not sure about poison tho I didn’t know

Here’s a really good way to steal an egg on scorched earth travel to the top of the wyvern trench on a land mount. Apply cactus broth and bug repellent and make sure you have a crossbow with grappling hooks a cryopod of a flyer a sleeping bag and some organic polymer. Find a wyvern nest and jump into the trench and grapple into the pocket with the nest. Place a sleeping bag next to the nest. Grab the egg and consume organic polymer to kill yourself. Respawn at the sleeping bag grab the egg from your inventory and throw the cryopod of a flyer down apply big repellent and cactus broth to it and yourself and fly away. Shouldn’t get detected by wyverns.

Please don't get a poison wyvren because you just hit yourself with the poison ball and kill yourself when landed on the ground! XD

If ur friend or someone wants to ride on the wyvern just tell them to sit on the back will u drive ps don’t fly fast bc ur just watch ur friend die from fall damage lol

Okay... so snow owl is the best way to go but if not then... okay but in scorched earth USE A GALLI. Here's the game plan, also I'm so lonley playing alone :,). But in scorched earth when you find the trench, set up a wall of dino gates, stone or metal and then make a weird box thing and when you go in the box with your flyer you cryo your flyer and you must ha e your galli ready... so then you hop on your galli and run off to make any wuverns after you de ago. ALSO PLEASE PLAY WITH ME IM LONLEY.

When stealing their eggs, don’t even consider doing it with a Pteranodon or a Tapejara unless you’re one of the most skilled pilots in the game. Argys are decent for stealing (pump up health + stamina), but the best creature to get eggs is with Griffins and Snow Owls.

Best way to grind wyvren eggs it’s to watch nooblets stealing crystal wyvren eggs, I built one and the entire server uses it. It works for wyvrens and crystal wyvrens! Good luck building that wyvren army!

One way to get a good wyvern if you don’t have the creatures to search the wyvern trench for hours on end to find a high lvl is to steal the fist egg you see, if you are a server owner or are on single player, raise the growth rate so it grows up before starving, on official you can use daeodons to keep the baby alive. Once the wyvern grows up you now have a faster and tankier flyer than a pteranodon to steal the eggs with and get a good lvl.

The max egg me and my friend found was 180 in a server, we think the max level for the eggs increased

Non-common core math for feeding time:

Divide food value by 360 = time in hours until starving.

If you didn’t know on pc c it picks animals up and on the ground you blow away small animals and break trees I hope this helps

3 air cons is usually enough to incubate an egg and for a good trap simply place behemoth gates! Its that simple and you will also want a low lol female so u don't waste tranqs

Simple go in with a pterodactyl make sure all the wyverns died or are fire and no alphas look for a female after you get the egg I recommend on ragnorok there is a hidden cave in the plains where you can set up a base don’t like making ac s well use a bunch of fires and torches now look for a female get 4 behemoth gate ways get a rifle some darts or tranq arrows and then get I recommend 200 wood for the fire then place down the egg and boom also people don’t make it specific on which to look out for the good and bad way try to dodge poison wyverns avoid lightning and just stay a distance from fire and ice!

Be careful when using a pteranodon the eggs way 50 pounds And pteranodons don’t have the best weight. So you will go slower and the wyvern can catch up with you and kill you. I recommend A griffin or a snow owl

Guys you DO NOT need Wyvern milk to keep it alive, if in valguero (not sure about other maps) just take up a daedon, give it loads of cooked meat and heal it when it starts getting damaged. Did this with a level 97 on official

You need a fast flyer like a ptarodon and then you need to fly in a forest
