To whoever said can you get ice and lightning wyverns on console the answer is yes. You get lightning wyverns the same way as fire and poison and I know that ice wyvern nests spawn around the extremly cold murder snow area on ragnarok and they also have their own trench on valguero. Fair warning, ice wyverns are faster than other wyverns when wild and their attack slows you down making then quite deadly

If you have something with average stamina and is ever so slightly faster than a wyvern (ptera, griffin or if your in a cluster server rock drakes or crystal wyverns) this is a lot easier than people make it out to be. Just please for the love of god don’t attempt this on an argie

If you’re on Scorched Earth, tame two high level Argys and breed them. Create yourself a large army. Take the highest stat one as your mount and lead them all into the trench. They’ll distract the wyverns while you steal the eggs.

The best way to get a wyvern on Ragnarok is with a Griffin. Get a high level one (easier with trap) and take it to the Scar. You can grab the wyvern’s attention and fly high into the air, then nosedive to the Plains. The wyverns will stop following you since the Griffin is so fast, and they will be out of the Scar. Now you can go and choose your egg! After grabbing one I suggest still flying away and using the nosedive, just in case there are still wyverns in the trench.

When you go to wyvern cave stay to left or right so you don’t get hit by the wyvern

I recommend using tranqs on the back of a thyla to knock these guys out

YOU DONT NEED MILK!!! I have been hatching eggs and using the boare things to heal it as it grows!

Got a lightning egg and died cause I couldent get the milk look on YouTube for traps but they are costly also by putting egg in a fridge it never goes bad but the milk to store it must be put In preserving bin

If you're on pc and using S+ or Super Structures, wyvern eggs will not go into the hatchery and it will actually use the egg to craft it for whatever reason

To the guy with the blood wyv looking for the ice wyv, yes, ice wyverns are still tamable.

However, NESTS ARE NOT GURANTEED TO SPAWN. You'll need to look at the multiple different spawn points for nests, and hope a nest spawns. I'd recommend using the Ark Wiki's list of nest spawns, they are usually listed on the "Resource Map". If you've checked all locations and they still haven't spawned, kill the ice wyverns and then fly far away to unload the zone, and come back to reload it. I personally, however, would not recommend getting an ice wyvern at all, as they are widely considered the worst wyvern type. Go for Lightning or Poison instead!

Get a pteradon fly in the nest take the egg then fly out, try looking for a nest with no wyverins nearby. You don't need milk, it's to hard to get, just tame a deadon and you are good to go. If you can tame a snow owl then that's even better cuz deadons eat WAY TO MUCH

Wyvern milk is worth 1200 food if they have lower than 1200 food stat theyll need to be forcefed

Post flying patch you need a Pteranodon with at least 200% stamina, to steal milk - kite one into a trap and use a longneck and tranq darts to knock it out (check it's a female before kiting it into your trap), to steal an egg avoid contact with a dragon until you secure an egg - once an egg is retrieved double barrel straight up 2-3 times and fly until the wyvern loses interest :)

Remember to get a high level egg or eat any low level eggs instead of dropping them on the ground! It allows eggs to respawn quicker!!

After flyer new you need a pteranodon with at least 1000 stamina to kite a female for milk. When you aggros you barrel roll once to get out of the breath attacks range. It won't catch up to just don't kite lightning ms unless you are close to your trap you may have to barrel roll twice to get out of its breath attack range.

Once you have a wyvern use the wyverns in the scar. Each element is immune to the same type. Watch for poison as the gas cloud still kills the rider unless you wear a gas mask.

Also be a man and make a tek tier trap. Behemoth tek gate and fly through with your wyvern and it'll close behind you automatic. Perfect for alpha wyvern traps

I would advise two people going in on an argy and one being held by the person on the argy, then drop the person once they have the egg then they get killed, the wyvern un-agros, you go back and grab the egg

It's harder but it's possible to use a thylacoleo to wall comb out and to jump in but you might lose one or two before you will perfect the method

Thanks to the new flyer nerd argues can't exactly steal an egg anymore because they are slow as crap....But all is not lost you can still get yourself a flying beast of death and destruction thanks to the new climbing beast of total awesome that is surprisingly not a cat the thylacoleo. Since this little-big kinda guy can climb walls I can find your egg and climb in and out way funnier than getting an argument with whatever speed..have fun

When building a trap build it parrellel with the scar so when they flee they don't escape
