Vultures can harvest corpses while perched on your shoulder, attacking nearby threats and helping defend you as a second weapon. They also extend the spoil time of meat in their inventory and can gather or preserve valuable meat, while groups can overwhelm enemies despite being better suited to defense than pursuit.
