Always keep flyers on passive

Placing a tent still seems to work at least on Ragnarok. It's fickle to place but if you can wait for it to land and start walking it's worth the wait. A 150 came out in no time at all

EZ take just crouch around them, or wear gillie, so they dont aggro and feed spoiled meat.

So I found it easiest to tame by waiting for it to land

An early game must have, vultures are almost always one of my first tames in the game. Carry a decent level on your shoulder, make sure it's on follow and when your in a scrap and things are about to get ugly, throw the vulture and run. 9 time out of 10 it'll return to you victorious. Especially against argentavis.

The tent method of bola the vulture and placing a tent on top of it to trap it still works as of November 30th, 2024.

Does the opposite of what the wiki says. Doesn't spoil meat, it keeps meat from spoiling. Have one on you and when you kill something let it take its meat. You can't place shit in it, not even meat so let it get the kill.

Me and friend had harder time with tent method and found it way easier just to wear a full ghillie suit to tame

Prefers to eat spoiled over fresh meat

If it flus against a cliff or wall pin it. The tent method is iffy at best I had 2 go on a rampage and kill me after I placed them in tents

Put tent over vulture and don't kill anything around the vulture.
