Tent method still works as of 3-3-23

Hey are you a low level trying to get into the caves for some god dam reason??? Taming multiple vultures is very useful because of their unique attacking pattern makes them harder to hit when they attack they also attack while on your shoulder (which saved my life so many times) very good tame

Vulture Eggs are dropped by Vultures that's tamed. The egg can be eaten or used to make Basic Kibble for taming.

Whoever said tent method doesn’t work is a nub I just tamed two on rag September 2020 and worked fine

These are easy without a tent. I've tamed a few dozen on Ragnarok at Viking Bay. Feed them and track it; they don't seem to wander to far. I've gotten to where I can track four at a time.

I just remove everything from my inventory except the spoiled meat and start feeding and running after them. If you time it right you can feed them before they land/take off and run to another one. They touch down twice before landing and leave a cloud of dust every take-off/landing.

Also, they can get into a regular doorway pretty easily. I learned that the hard way running for my life.

It says they're exclusive to Scorched Earth, but they're also on Ragnorok.

Ascended - tent still works - 04/2024

Placing a tent over it doesn't seem to work anymore. When behind it run and place a tent in the direction it's flying (low to ground) then open the tent door to let it in. Close it straight after and bibs your uncle. Got myself a 150 from doing that method anyway😉

Normally a docile creature, the vulture will quickly become aggressive to anything or anyone near a corpse it wishes to feed on. If on foot be wary. Vultures can pack a punch on a fresh player just trying to make ends meat. Running is not advised . To fight make tight circles and stab upwards with a pike or spear. Bows are also very effective.

Tent still works. Tried it 9 17 20 and still works. Don't listen to the fake news lol

These things are G R E A T. Recommend especially for starters on scorched earth since they’re everywhere and easy to tame (passive tame with spoiled meat) I have a lvl 50 vulture named Vile on scorched earth (AKA my noob ARK) and she killed a lvl 6 kapro almost all on her own and took almost NO DAMAGE. Tame these up and have em perch on your shoulder, also good for fending off smaller bugs!

Killing them gives you only spoiled meat, this is perfect for making slot of narcotics, go on a vulture genocide then use the insane berry gathering skills of a bronto to make lots of narcotics

Vultures a large swarm of vultures can kill anything, and you can bring them into any cave. A team of 30 or so decent ones can do the ice worm queen with ease.

Yes. Non violent taming. Except when it eats your face.

Scorched Earth best first tame. Get out to the desert and tame 6 vultures and put them on follow. They will harvest meat, hide, chitin, etc.

Get a pack of 12 leveled up in melee and health and you are almost invincible.
