Be careful, they seem to be cool until they change their mind for no reason at all to swarm u and insta kill u with dozens of clones

From my experience, the small fox will summon “decoy” foxes (aka the foxes friends), if spotted, it will be skittish and summon more decoys. To tame this polar pal you must crouch down and sneak behind the foxes until you find the original, once found, a claim button will appear.

Since the Veilwyn can make clones of itself to help it fight, (seven total with the original), you could stack defensive traits on one and set it to aggressive to help clear cave Dinos. The traits *seem* to apply to all of them and from personal testing and they are alright at clearing Onyc and most bugs, but they can't use/refresh the cloning ability if in water. The whistle command also has to be used every 90 seconds, but is manageable.

Guys I’ve never tried this but on companoin mode they teleport to you when you die couldn’t you put all your loot in this and kill your self to get the equivalent of a small tek teleporter early game

All you need to tame one is track it with the binos just in case if it makes a clone. After sneak behind it and claim it that simple. You can only claim the original

So when lost colony comes out it’s gonna have two evolutions one is going to be a artificial evolution and it’s going to look like a hell hound that is probably going to be super strong the other will be a natural evolution and it looks like it’s going to be a healer they haven’t told us how the evolutions will work but these guys might be game changers so tame as many of them as you can before lost colony comes out!!!

They have a companion mode (similar to the armadoggo) and get a pack bonus (like dire wolves)

The ice fox also spawns in aberration in the blue zone but they agro to you for no reason sometimes

The spawn code for the Veilwyn is:

The 150 is the lvl before taming, you can set that to any number you want. You're welcome. Youtubers pls just put this stuff in your videos, most people don't have access to the same information you do and spawn commands are some of the most important info you're gonna get one day 1.

Add "call friends" as default whistle. Drop in hotbar.

First use adds 3 friends, 2nd use after summons 6!

Keep using it to get them and pvp is a breeze. They really hurt. Ngl

They are also in Ragnarok in the snowy areas

Basically an easier to get Fjordhawk with better stats. Put your loot in it before you die and it'll bring it back for you.

This is a very easy tame, just walk up to it with Ghillie while crouching, and claim it. Pretty powerful creature once tamed too. Has the same mechanic as the Armadoggo where it is a companion creature and cam't be killed.

Veilwyns also spawn on extinction I’ve sadly killed 140 while, trying to tame yutys

These guys can spawn in the blue zone of Aberration, so keep an eye out for them.

I’ve seen these on extinction at 4 lat, 87 long while I was taming a mana

Don't walk up to it, crouch.

If Claim* isn't available on the primary Veilwyn (not the clones as it won't appear) then jump so it runs and then crouch to it again as it resets.

Claim it with Y or Triangle on PS.

Drop whistle in to hot bar and make call friends* the primary usage. Thos way you can always have 6 following you.

Get around 3k hp and rest in Melee for support pet.

Hp and Weight for a free teleporting storage box!

Or breed and get tons of melee and have a free eleite army traveling with you.

If it dies, it will just respawn as long as you have it as a pet.

Try and get multiple of them claimed for each task, and aim for 340%+ on melee as this varies in the wild.

You absolutely can find those cuties on Extinction, Ive seen plenty of them in Snow Biome.

These guys also can spawn in the ice area on Extinction.
