I can’t hop on! And I try to feed it and I only eat the rock carrot....I’m confused

For mobile, they should make it so that eerie dung beetles can turn unicorn poop into a super fertilizer (like 100k Fert.)

This thing is super easy to tame. You need one player ten rockcarrots a flyer and a ghillie suit. I found mine in ragnarock on the grassland near the wyvern ravine. Use your mount to fly around and find one. Warning the chances of you finding one are very low there is only one on the entire map. Once/if you find it make sure there are no predators around. If there are kill them first. Once the coast is clear land a good distance away from the unicorn. (Make sure your flyer is on neutral) then put on ghillie suit and put the carrots in the past slot of your hotbar then approach slowly. Only move closer when the unicorn is looking away. When your right next to it feed it the carrot. It will run away if it doesn’t immediately tame. It normally takes 1-3 carrots so don’t panic. Mount your flyer again, go high in the air and see where it goes. If it runs into a predator protect the unicorn. Then repeat process until tamed.

On The Island I found one on Herbivore island, if u don’t know where it is google it. When I found it I was panicking because I didn’t have any crops or berries so I went on my raft home got the crops went back and tamed it. They spawn on Herbivore Island a lot. If your on The Island always look there first. :)

I hate only being able to tame it with griffin kibble on mobile 😡

In ark mobile they will only eat griffin kibble!!! Learned this the hard way.

Go to the Highlands on Ragnarok with a wyvern or Argy, you should see the unicorn soon, most likely being chased, catch it with the flyer and fly somewhere to tame it(a raft base is a good one)

Don’t run at it with excitement ready to tame as it will run… and run and run and run. Learned this the hard way when i did it and it ran all the way to brawlers bay and got killed by an alpha raptor.

Be careful not to knock it out to reset its taming efficiency too many times (I did it three times as I could not find out which button on PS4 I had to press to feed it while riding) as this will quickly starve the unicorn, killing it. Even if it is starving you still have to wait a large interval before feeding it again as well, so don't try to starve it.

Picked it up with argy and dropped into pen…now taming allos to make kibble to tame griffon to make kibble to tame uni….check back in six months

If you ever find one make a containment pen for it out of stone. I was stealing Wyvern eggs and mine got killed by a lightning Wyvern. Keep them safe and flex on your friends

I found one in the red wood which is extremely rare so don’t really recommend searching there plus it took me 5 hours to find it but it is cool but equus is literally the same thing but Easter to find but on the bright side super easy to tame

COOKING STATION DOESNT HAVE GRIFFIN KIBBLE. GET ALLO KIBBLE TAME GRIFFIN PAIR THAT HAVE SAME SURNAME THE LAST 2-3 letters of name. Breed griffin pair to create super griffin kibble

If your on Xbox and you want to tame it right now the only way is to get a low enough level and feed it the kibble it suggests I did it with a level 10 and now have a unicorn

On mobile just fly to the green ob then if uni boi isnt there fly to nearby big rocks on swamp tidy save. Return to check ob. Repeat till uni boi spawn.

So i just started playing in ark mobile brutal, i found a level 30 unicorn while im still level 6, im f happy coz u know, thats a f rare to see creature. So i happily grabbed like 20 rockarrots and when i try to tame it, it wont eat the rockarrots. So i go to dododex and read that he can only be eat by griffin kibble in mobile. I mean bro, wth? Thats not f good

Sad days... so I found one, took it too a safe place (my base) and then got my griffins to breed and get an egg. I made the griffin kibble and got a soothing balm. After giving him the soothing balm, all was well until I fed him the kibble, he instantly died.

As if I fed him poison. He just died, all is not lost however, I can still revive him. For 200 amber 😭

Unicorn will not eat or let you mount it. You are a mobile player. Here is the problem. You HAVE to sneak up on it. Leave render distance so that it will calm down. When you return drop to the grown using the crouch button well away from the unicorn. Slowly belly crawl your way toward it so that it does not see you. Ghille can help you blend in but is not necessary. When you sneak up on the unicorn, wait until you are prompted to feed it. Have the griffin kibble and soothing balm in your hot bar before sneaking up. When prompted to feed it then you go to your hot bar while targeting it and feed it with the kibble and balm. You now have a unicorn! Eat it’s poop. 🙂

For anyone not getting how to calm it on console when you’re on its back and it keeps throwing you off: Dismount and mount on it as fast as you can - You gotta make sure to have the food in the last slot of your hotbar of course- then it’ll show you the taming process in the bottom right of your screen
