They are the only way to tame aquatic creatures, but with the recent TLC pass 3, they get torn apart by packs of megalodons. They are absolutely terrible to attack with, they need wide open water to work well. Hence, they suck for caves. Use a Basilosaurus for all underwater caves.

If you have a high enough weight just put a ton of black pearls in your last slit then feed it when possible then it should eat all the amount it takes to tame it in one go because thats what i did and it was a 140

You may use an upgraded basilo to tank his attacks and them you feed it. If you have only meat, use a meg to run away while waiting if it has low level.
