(ark mobile) all you need is 40 meat and a balm in order to tame a max lvl while also using an ichtyosaurus. all you gotta do is hit one with a pick or anything (except the ichty attack) then lure into a wild carbonemys, feed the tuso then boom u got yourself a giant calamari

It can be hatched in in incubator...BUT.....

The incubator has to be underwater.

If u plan an enclosed nursery around the incubator, the space next to it has to big enuf for a full-sized tuso, apparently due to hitbox dynamics.

I used a perfect tamed plesiosaur with an acendant sadder and tamed two solo my plesiosaur has 23000 health took two feelings and it was tamed. Still difficult to do.

Why is it a midgame tame? It's saddle is unlocked at lv.91 Which is endgame!

I found a way to tame the beached ones on crystal isles that dont want to be tamed, I bit it and waited a minute and bit it again and it grabbed me that time allowing me to tame it. Sorry I dont have more info yet

PSA: The maturation time after hatching is wrong, the one I raised on official took the same amount of time as a mosasaurus. It appears the wiki has this incorrect information as well.

I prefer using a Pleo that’s a high lvl with over 3900 health so then u need balm and black pearls

Tamed this one with a mosa and it tamed almost instantly using black pearls and soothing balm. Let it grab your tame while u feed it. Wear armor cause it might hit u with tentacles and kill you. Easy

Let the squid grab a tamed mount (preferably high health) and while it has the mount in its grasp feed it 50 black pearls but the pearls half to be in your last item slot to do so and wear riot gauntlets while doing this it saves your butt lol

Please if you taking it in crystal isles don't use mosa or any dino that big af they can glitch outside the map and insta kill also try something you can try throw as bait don't care if it dead and put beds when u trying move it out of beach don't work that well

Can't grab squids.

For Mobile players; DON'T USE MOSAS FOR TAMING. Wild Tusos will refuse to grab a tamed Mosa, so don't waste your time trying to let it grab your Mosa because it won't and will just keep attacking you. Better to use a Plesi, Meg or Turtle.

Tame with a turtle with 7k health, and be patient between feedings.

If you breed them, hatch in an enclosed pond that can defended (eggs cant be moved by hand).

After 10% maturity, they must be fed via a feeding trough or they will starve.

If you are on mobile and want to tame one you can use 10X and cooked prime meat or raw meat for a decent or easy tame

Let tuso grab tamed at max height for tuso to swim up. Feed tuso have tame on follow swim up wait for 1000 food to burn. Don’t do the timer

Always go to the max height the tuso will swim up. Makes it easier to feed and swim up.

So if you need to take one of these things go on multiple failing attempts then start looking for a mosa then you will find one trust me please

If ur ever find one and try to tame it and it says it don't wanna be tamed Right now you need a high health dinosaur then let it grab ur dinosaur and dismount ur dino and then feed it at least 100 black pearls or prime meat.

The easiest way to get black pearls is a gasha as you can get hundreds of them and if you keep them in the crystals you won't have to worry about the wieght.
