Alpha squids are the strongest alpha in the game they have the most hp and damage increase per level and the slight fact that they grab any tame that isn't a basilo or another squid makes them even worse.

On the center on asa I saw a ton at the bottom of the map where the spawn map has the red square

So I was hunting some of these to find a alpha and I learned this the hard way that you should never battle these right by the edge of the world border because I was fighting one Against the border, he grabbed me, and then he shoved me out of the world that instantly destroyed me and I lost all my stuff. I may be wrong but on Crystal Isles I think you can find them in the weird lighting/snow biome place and there are these balls of water near the ground and sometimes if you get too close they will reach out and grab you. :x

Atleast I have a Basilo to farm its black pearls, because it's immune to grabs.

I know the danger surrounding these guys but, NOOOO! I charged towards it with my dolphin, Karru 'cuz it swam away and we chased it. It turned towards us and gave us a huge squid hug. I panicked when I saw Karru's health being sucked off like hell. I avenged him but, it just farted us ink and got away.

I need help to be honest, I don't see this dino on dododex so I came here because it is closest to the tuso. There is a swarm of small very fast red squid that tore me from shore and tore me apart in the water. They literally snatched me from a two story ship to tear at me in the water like I was a Christmas snack. What in the world are those things? I thought they might be baby tuso so I need to ask this here.

Most epic moment I’ve ever had with a tuso- thyla and its rider leaping across a deep river, I spring up and my pursuing friend captures the whole thing on video.

Out of the river a mass of tentacles rises and grabs the jumping thyla and drags it to the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again
