I read they are supposed to let go but they do not. And you can't attack them if they grab you right. Lost a 300 mots to a level 40 because I couldn't get it to let go.

We tried taming one on 1.5x weekend with black pearls and only got a lvl 15 to half tame with 100 pearls. Be prepared to have to use more than the calculator suggests.

SA companion says it eats 50 black pearls at a time so, it would be better/faster to tame it with pearls over prime meat.

You have to get up to it's beak while it's holding your tame to tame it

Just do Brutal mode, it's the easiest way possible, I already have four squids from this technique!

Try to bring a boat and two itchy. maybe squid will go to boat. Feed one itchy, feed squid. Go back to boat. Run it like a pirate chasing and/or being chased by the colossal squid with one itchy and continue until it will be hungry. MAAAYYBEEE IT WILL WORK

There's this beach on Crystal Isles and somehow 5 tusos (No joke) have managed to beach themselves there. I went looking for Dung beetles and found many Tusoteuthis. Up if you've ever seen a beached tusos on CI 😆👌

In ark mobile I found one by swimming around the island multiple times, I bet this works on console and pc as well. So just do this

I was trying to knock out a dunkleosteus to tame I got grab by one kill me and my tame

One of the easiest tames I’ve ever done…

All you need to do is use a swimming tame one that has a somewhat decent amount of health. (1.5K+)

Swim up to a squid and let it grab you.

Once you are grabbed, dismount your tame and with 50 black pearls in your last slot, swim up to the squids beak and feed it. BOOM. Tamed.

50 black pearls no matter the level.

Don’t let them fool you with black pearls and grind to get 50 it’s really easy get the tuso to grab something put 1 raw meat in your slots and a soothing balm and go to its mouth and feed boom tamed no easier than black pearls

Some one have the answer to this help me. I went to two under water caves and attempted to tame animals. This large under water cave was attached to an above ground crystal cave. Glowing orange and had Bats,snails,acorpions etc. The underwater had sea animals. All the kinds that are hard to find Mozasaurs,Lepluradons,the scary squid. They were all greatly larger than normal and it wouldnt let me tame. Thwy would go unconscience no tame. Food correct in inventory just nothing. Gps 45.5,88.6 Let me know would love to bring home something. Ps bring a pack of Sharks its crazy hard in there.

Okay so if your crazy (me) and have enough time to be constantly attacked and really like want them (me) if you know the underwater cave go there there is usually 1-6 of them inside and very high level I seen lv250 these in there however there’s like 100 megladons, 1000 eels that will lag you to death and an bunch of other nasty things sooo… yeah I would recommend really high health to do this or clear the cave first and slowly get the target closer to the exit. Another important reminder on mobile you Tap the Kraken if it an feed one tame. swim right up to its beaks and tap it with Black pearl in the right slot bar AS IT GRABBING AN DINO (good chance of death it also advised using anything other them black pearl while taming would result in the Dino’s death unless it has an Giant health pool) another thing I would recommend Mossa or ples for this cave , ple are always in pairs of 2 and Mossa although intimidating are easy tame if you have good gear and fast dolphin tame .

Remember always to include tusoteuthis in the middle of scorched earth on your turrets for saftey and any other land based area for fear of flying tusoteuthis

How I did it high lvl plesiosaur and mosa have it Agro the plesiosaur and let it grab on then go into feed it put the plesiosaur on follow and bit the squid once or twice with the mosa should make it let go of the tame then just go up to the depth limit till it's time to feed again and just repeat till tamed (caution: this can be very glitchy)

Hi, I solo tame squids every second day . It's more than simple . The best for me is using my mosa or a high lvl meg. I let squid grab, then I dismount and feed the squid . Make sure you have more than 60 pearls in your 0 slot . Usually install tame for me . Turtles are useless as force feeding on them takes forever.
