Tropeognathus

Behavior: Netural

The Tropeognathus is a pterosaur that is found in Crystal Isles.

I found mine in the red forest by the volcano, but they spawn near the floating islands too.

While slow, you can attach a jet booster on it’s back to soar in the sky at ever so fast rates. It takes gas as if it was honey. It can also shoot grenades via the turret on it’s back.

HOW TO TAME

You will need the following: 1 hand bola, 8 Stone pillar, 2 Stone roofs, 1 ballistic turret, 1 Chain bola, And taming food.

First, find the Trop

Second, throw the Hand bola

Third, Use the stone pillars and build a diamond shaped trap with the trop inside. Add the two roofs

Fourth, Chain bola the trop

Lastly, Feed it the taming food

Have fun taming!

Absolute fastest way to tame while retaining taming effectiveness is to find a tropeo, find somewhere nearby to place ballista on a single foundation, load it up with 10-12 chain bolas, take a wyvern to BITE the tropeo and get it aggro'd to the wyv, fly back to ballista and chain down the pursuing tropeo, continue hitting the tropeo with the remaining bolas (they stack the timer), then feed kibbles. The bite damage and bola stack will immediately drop the food stat so you can be done in a minute or two with no loss in taming effectiveness.

Step1 breed two of these jet plains like 20 times

Step2 find a hoard of beach bobs

Step3 show them how to use the jets

Step4 raid the Alpha tribe

Step5 profit

I've been studying this new map and got a sneak peak on this dino it's huge not bendable tho they might change there might wind current and this is 134 up for more later on🙃

The cost for the saddle are as follows:

(Learnable at lvl 65, However you can ride without a saddle)

120 crystal, 450 fiber, 325 hide, 1250 metal ingots, 250 poly.

What I used was metal bola and kibble. FEED IT LIKE A PASSIVE TAME. PUT FOOD IN THE LAST SLOT OF YOUR HOT BAR. Or you'll waste an hour and a half figure out why you killed two of em.

Just use prime meat you lose 1 level but its 4x faster 30 mins instead of 2 hours

To the person who said there on the island there is no Tropeognathus in the island there only in crystal isles.

They are on mobile! You have to spawn them in though. Proof? They have models, stats, and sounds in the genesis 2 missions

Their wingspan was actually believed to be 27-29 ft

On valq these things are everywhere nearby the castle and the area around it. I’ve seen them above trees and walking on the ground. They only attack u if u attack it first so use this to your advantage. Gl fellow tamers.

Don't leave render of it if you have it trapped, for some reason it will phase out and chase you across the world.

Double tap X for wing wind blast

Before taming Bola with a REGULAR Bola and damage it. Shortly after it takes off again it will lose a ton of food and tame in less than a minute. It must be a regular Bola for draining food and a chain Bola to tame.

To the guy who said the sky is too easy may i interest you in a ice wyvern?

First trap it, u can find multiple online, then shoot it with whatever you like just hurt it enough so it won’t heal anytime soon. Then wait and it’s food will drop much quicker than just waiting with out hurting it. Then chain bola it and feed it the kibble once u have starved it enough.

It’s a natural grinder for items

These guys behave like a Tapejara without a saddle, except for their grinder function, but with a saddle they are AWSOME!!!

You can go as fast as a Wyvern on normal speed and even faster on double speed, they fire grenades and consume gas.

P.S it may take some time to get use to them but when you haven’t flown one of these you haven’t lived

When trapping, once using the chain bola the first time DO NOT FEED IT. Shoot it with a couple arrows to get it’s health below half. Once it escapes from the chain bola, re-bola it And you should be able to feed it multiple times within the bola duration. Tried today on small tribes, level 120 and 140
