If you go from herbivore island to directly inland, there are flat edges of the mainland underwater, and i went in there with my spino and killed like fourteen trilobites, great for: early game silica pearls, oil, chitin, and black pearls if harvested

Pretty useless, just kill them for an easy way to harvest chitin and oil early game.

Trilobites DON'T EAT, they have a carry weight of 150, these are good storage for fertilizer or owl pellets early on because it only costs 1 fish basket to store hundreds of either.

Grab an otter, set it to attack target and go down to the south shore towards the east. Theres usually a lot there, you just have to go into the water to find them. Took me 10-15 minutes to get 3 black pearls and I collected a load of chitin while I was doing it so it’s worth while

These guys are either herbivores or scavengers they don’t any beef with the living. They have tough outer shell witch is resistant to projectiles like arrows but is less resistant to melee weapons like axes, picks and of course swords. They cannot be tamed on mobile or switch they can only be tamed on pc or consule. They are a handy source of chitin, oil, pearls, and a small amount of meat.

These little guys are just there, chilling. Unless you need chitin or silica pearls. For me, on the Steam version, I have a base on a peninsula near Weathertop. There is a shallow river by my base. Sometimes I will see these things in that river. Sometimes I will see them at Herbivore Island. If you have SCUBA gear or some kind of fast and reliable aquatic mount, you can find them in the deep ocean.

You can find them by south province one. And just go to the other side of the island where you spawn at. You don’t need to go way over to herbivore island

These funky fellas are great for resources like oil, but keep in mind they give you what you need on there terms when in need of oil you may not get it! Pikes are fun at killing them

If you trap one of these guys in a fishing trap, they can be placed down anywhere to make a fairly discrete storage container. Nothing will attack it, and it is extremely difficult to find.

If you turn your resolution and graphics quality down it will be easier to find and spot them if they are very common it's just hard to spot them because they are so small

I live on herb island and I hunt these by the shore before the trench beware megalodon like to live here and I think I also think I saw a basilosaurus too
