Kill lost of them early game as they give good rewards needed in late game

And if you need chitin, tame baryonyx mount it and go to cave

On crystal isles a good place to find them, is on the outskirts of the island furthest southwest.

You can find them on the beaches of carno island

They spawn near the edge of the Arctic

You can make spino saddles with its silica pearls

It’s good for early game oil and chitin collection, when you kill it

These guys run back to the water if you hit them make sure they don't escape!

If you go from herbivore island to directly inland, there are flat edges of the mainland underwater, and i went in there with my spino and killed like fourteen trilobites, great for: early game silica pearls, oil, chitin, and black pearls if harvested

How to raise a good trilobite

1. Taming the trilobite is completely optional when it comes to these guys. But this is a taming tip

2. (Optional) locate there dossier inside the chitin cave on the island ( I have no idea where the dossier is on any other map just google it)

3. You need to either have a pc or consule because they aren’t tameable on mobile or switch

4. Unlock the fish basket Ingram and find your future friend

5. Place the fish basket over them and put meat inside(fish meat)

6. When trapped realise them

7. They eat berries when tamed I think

8. They don’t serve a use when tamed just to be a background character in an aquarium.

9. Tame more than 1 so it won’t get lonely

10. Just show the thing that you care about it

Pretty useless, just kill them for an easy way to harvest chitin and oil early game.

Wait YOU CAN TAME THEM? That’s a real game changer.

Trilobites DON'T EAT, they have a carry weight of 150, these are good storage for fertilizer or owl pellets early on because it only costs 1 fish basket to store hundreds of either.
