I like them for Chitin, so I can have more cementing paste. To make some cementing paste, you can use the Stone and Chitin, or you can put Keratin in in place of the Chitin. Keratin is a lot harder to get, you need stegosaurs for them. Chitin can come off of Trilobites and flying ants.

They give a lot of chitin, some pearls and a bit of oil

Moschops can harvest both types of pearls in decent amounts and unreasonable amounts of chitin from these guys, along with a fair bit of oil. If youre planning to kill one of these guys, harvest it with a moschops.

These guys will occasionally drop back pearls when killed.

Tame it with a fish basket or admin then it’s the perfect house pet

kill them early game or else your not gonna get what you need easily

Where do you find these in mobile?

The statement "when you need them you cant find them" is true when it comes to these friends called trilobites. Their aprence is the equivalent to an ark horse shoe crab and you know that statement i refered to yeah wait a good 5min in the bottom left beaches the will pop up in groups of about 5

To the guy that said that he needs oil you can kill Basilosaurus to get around two hundred and 70 oil. Really simple to kill with itchy.

This may be me tweaking, but they seem to be in beaches when its raining, saw like 5 of them.

You can tame them in a fishing basket

If you spawn in The Footpaw (selecting West Zone 2, or sometimes South Zone 1 in The Island map) you can easily find them in early game. Just look for the narrow peninsula in the East (a very safe place with almost no predators, literally none in the South area). You will frequently find trilobites on the southwestern coast.

Trilobites are very usefull, because they're passive and weak: that makes them probably the easiest source of chitin, a convenient source of meat and a source of oil and silica pearls, two important resources you'll need late in the game.

Best way to find them i’ve discovered is to get on a raft and do a lap around the island staying close the ocean beaches. Look down at the water with the cam angle and look carefully. I personally used a couple of baryonyxs as protection detail but you do you on that end.

These things give you Chitin, silca pearl, oil, and sometimes black pearl. These things are found on beaches and in deep waters.

Just sayin’ when you need these things it is impossible to find them but early game you will find tons of them harvest them ASAP.

If you go to the beach on Craggs’s Island, then they’re a bit common there.

Throw the fish basket near it so it is stupid enough to trap itself in it and then release it so it thinks ýour the best person in the world and then when have you give it berries I mean why the hell berries? It's a goddam fish

If your a pvp player just put some C4 on these and send them towards the base your raiding or drop them from the sky

These are a good source of chitin for beginners, since the first set of armor you're probably going to make once you get a smithy is chitin armor, and trilobites are the first source of chitin you will see on the island.
