After a while they stopped frickin spawning so I have no good source of chiton

The Trilobite can be killed for chitin,oil, and silica pearls so if you need chitin or oil and silica pearls, Triliobite is the way to go

When I dint need gasoline I found a bunch but now I need chitin for ptera saddle and I only ever found one :/

These guys spawn all over the island's footpaw area. I woke up an- OH GOD THEY'RE ALL AROUND ME!!!!!!

These are mostly found in the edges of land around water. Also, in the spawn map, you can see that they are common in water but less common than the coasts.

I need pearls and these are nowhere to be found 💀

I found one my first day playing ark on the island map. Never saw one again.

A good place to find them is on the out skirts of the island furthest southwest.

I usually find them near lots of rocks

Are these guys supposed to spawn in water? I only see them in water but today I saw one just chilling on land

You can find them on herbivore island

I have recently started finding a lot of these on the north West shoreline not recommend for beginners but a very good place to farm for these guys.

If you want to find these guys, go down to south zone 1 I found a shit ton there. Could take a while, but they will gradually show up.

You can find in water as well on beaches. Very fast too!

Was dealing with a rex that spawned in my tribes base with giga.

Saw one and wondered what it was, killed it.

Gave tons of chitin as well as oil and pearls!
