These are tameable for Pc Users, all you need to learn is the Fish Basket engram and drop one down near a high lvl trilobite and then stand in the trilo’s way and guide it til it’s near your basket then capture it, release it before it expires in your inventory then cryopod it up for save keepings! Trick no ones sharing is you can hide blueprints in abberation trilobites and then hide them underwater ;) p.s you can also tame leeches and then leave them on aggro for biowarfare at obelisks or transmitters lol or Sabre salmon then catch release then cryo them for easier otter taming or attaching c4 to said salmon then attacking underwater targets....
More Trilobite Utility Tips
On the left side of the island map, there is a bit that looks a bit like a crooked finger. First of all, you can wall off the part that connects it to the rest of the island and turn the entire finger into your base. It is extremely safe and the only predators there are ichthyornises and dilos. Second of all, at the part where it connects to the rest of the island, there is a small pond surrounded by rocks and in that pond a ton of trilobites spawn. I made my base on this finger and made a chitin farm with the pond. Do with this knowledge what you will.
