These are tameable for Pc Users, all you need to learn is the Fish Basket engram and drop one down near a high lvl trilobite and then stand in the triloβs way and guide it til itβs near your basket then capture it, release it before it expires in your inventory then cryopod it up for save keepings! Trick no ones sharing is you can hide blueprints in abberation trilobites and then hide them underwater ;) p.s you can also tame leeches and then leave them on aggro for biowarfare at obelisks or transmitters lol or Sabre salmon then catch release then cryo them for easier otter taming or attaching c4 to said salmon then attacking underwater targets....

Sure does come in handy when these guys are around. They crawl out of the water every morning at the same time every day. Easy way to get black pearls and oil
On the left side of the island map, there is a bit that looks a bit like a crooked finger. First of all, you can wall off the part that connects it to the rest of the island and turn the entire finger into your base. It is extremely safe and the only predators there are ichthyornises and dilos. Second of all, at the part where it connects to the rest of the island, there is a small pond surrounded by rocks and in that pond a ton of trilobites spawn. I made my base on this finger and made a chitin farm with the pond. Do with this knowledge what you will.

I have recently discovered that these are by far the most valuable tame for any level of player.
Why you ask? Try taming 1 and then put anything at in it's inventory and see what happens ;) also you don't have to feed them AT ALL
Kill these on sight to get resources that youβll need later because these suddenly disappear when you need them
I once got 157 chitin from just one of these!! Definitely recommend going for these guys for chitin and oil, pearls (you get both) are just a bonus! They like to spawn around beachs and shallow rivers #Wolfs4Life β€οΈβ€οΈπΊβ€οΈβ€οΈ -Wolfa191
Hey guys for those who are playing on the island at the bit u spawn on the trilobites spawn mostly at 12:00 hope this helps someone
I struggle to find silica pearls on the island so at one point in time I hunted these guys down to the brink of extinction. (I basically just slaughter them).
