Triceratops is a very strong tame in early game, they can kill an Allo, Carno, Sarco, A pack of Argentavis, Megalodon, and anything that is strong, but only when you mount it. But Trike is very slow, so always upgrade their movement, make them follow you, and when you encounter a strong dino, mount the Trike and kill the dino.

Need norco berries? Get a trike saddle and go plow down some bushes and kill animals with it and split the stacks to get spoiled meat and there you go tame sum thing with high torpor.

These things with a pack of 3-5 is really strong i went and dealt with a rex in seconds i only made one tanky and the rest on pure dmg they be slow but good for fighting

So if these guys head glow red bc there’s a big predator- does it count with tamed spinos/rexes ect?

My Mike the Trike got me from 10 narcotics to 60 by farming bushes for 4 mins

If you're wondering what to pump on a trike, may I suggest health and melee. I have a trike that I pumped melee on and it is an absolute unit.

They should add an effect when 2 or more enemies or when they are cornered they stick together and make a circle formation if the trike is alone it doesn't work

Trikes are the best mount you can have early game. Just find a decent one, and make a trap. They take a bit of patience to tame but is 100% worth it. Their thatch collecting ability is off the charts, and are AMAZING for gathering berries. Knockback is insane even with the basic attack and they soak turrets. Useful for both PvE and PvP.

An excellent starting Dino. Comes in handy with thatch and berry collection.

Trikes have high knockback and if you have a bit high ground to hit a Rex's head then you can kill it

When tamed these a guys are great early game as they have high carry weight and good speed and if you get a high level one it gets high stamina, speed, hp, melee damage, and weight and the charge can stun enemies which is helpful for fighting big things that can get in the way.

Trikes are one of the best starter tames you can have. They’re tanky and also hit pretty hard. Combined with their knockback, you can easily kill small to medium sized predators like raptors, carnos and sarcos. They also have a buff when large carnivores are in the vicinity. They’re slow but have great weight, and you can use their charge to run around the map. (Imprinted trikes are relatively fast). Trikes are also great berry and thatch harvesters.

Their slow speed also makes taming them pretty easy (just remember to kill the other trikes in the area first). For low levels, you can use slingshots to knock them.

The charge attack stuns enemies so you can rush in and get the kill

If you are roaming around wanting to tame trike and find sperated trikes ,make sure to climb a rock kill the lowest level to make sure they're not together

On ASA, PS5 version. Trike will charge up, but then stops either few steps into it. Sometimes this happens at takeoff from charge. I’m unsure if I am maybe doing it wrong or it’s a bug. Is anyone else having this issue? Thinking of taming a Rhino to see if there is any better results. Will update. Best of luck to all you Survivors!

The guy who said that they can’t face down a theri, i took the time and leveled up my trike (Ella) until level 26 or smth, and it did face down a theri, almost without any taken damage! So if you are looking for a defender, ypu are in the right place! Also i have to mention that mine did face down a theri, when i was riding it! But it is possible!!

I was happily in the swamp with me trike and a Alpha raptor ran at me lucky this bad boy destroyed it it was only lvl 15 😂😂

Make sure to disable the option that dismounts you if you hold tap the right side. Trikes have a charge action that interferes with that. To charge, mount one, double tap/double swipe up and then hold, on the right side of the screen and it will charge. I also recommend having autorun always on, to prevent some tames not registering sprinting and instead running, like Iguanodon(even if you do it correctly, double tapping and then holding).
